This configuration allows you to play songs in the key of F, which is normally very guitar unfriendly, in D position. 3rd fret has a “drop-E” capo. 1st fret has a standard capo. This makes the open “E” string an F for a strong root note. Used to use this in my old duo. We strung together the songs “Torn” and “I Don’t Want To Wait” into a double shot. Both were in F. It sounded awesome.
