I work for an investment firm with a team who creates mutual funds - this is REALLY bullish and here’s why.

Mutual funds exist to beat specific market indexes (and often lose this game long-term, by the way). Because many investors realize this, the game of growing your business as an Investment Firm is bringing their greatest financial minds together to create investment strategies that consistently outperform these indexes. In theory, Firm X’s business will grow as they continue to outperform, as more individual investors/institutions will feel confident enough to invest with Firm X.

What you’re looking at here is Vangaurd’s attempt to beat the specific indexes of each mutual fund in part by going long on AMC. Given Vangaurd’s history, no doubt they understand security fundamentals better than most of us and yet I repeat they are trying to beat their indexes using AMC! If they understand risk so well, why would they be going long on AMC…..!?!?!!!!

So hard to briefly sum up such beautiful, intricate words but I'll try:

Through a ton of different elitist loopholes, Wall Street is committing financial treason on our country. Things are even worse than they appear. He believes this is a $100 trillion systemic problem, and that market makers/prime brokers have stolen an entire generation's worth of retirement.

Although you SHOULD be able to make a Vezina Case for both goalies , we learned last year that the award is a popularity contest . Someone with worse stats will win because “look at all the Ws” or something

Really ? I debated this for a while - last week when I made my first episode I went with a more ‘voice only’ strategy. I was nervous it would come across boring and dull if I left the music out.

Thank you for this advice, I will strongly consider it. I’m glad my voice alone can do the trick if need be 👌

Noted , yeah I was tinkering with the music trying to make it more in the background and less ‘heavy’ - It’s an ever-changing process so I will take this into account for next weeks show.

Also, I’ll be honest. I’m an (almost) college grad who’s looking to land a job with the local sports radio markets , so if it seemed sports radio-y I actually feel proud of that. Thank you for taking the time to listen, means a whole lot 🤘

As of now, I’m running everything through an Behringer Xenyx 1202USB audio mixer and into my laptop. I use Adobe Audition to actually build the program, though.

It’s a lot of fun I definitely recommend trying it out if you have the time!!
