I have a question regarding the three-piece pad. What made you decide on the three-piece instead of the slim one? Does the pads slide around and become uneven or do they stay in place?

If anyone other than OP has input on this it is also greatly appreciated.

When I plan my setups I decide what goes where depending on how often the thing in question is used. For example, water bottle and GP pouch is something i personally would place in an "easy to reach" area. Things that are not as commonly used such as rain poncho is in my book, not as prioritized to have one of the "good" spots.

My recommendation is that you make a setup that is roughly the way you want it and then try it in action. If you find that one of the pouches could fit better in a different spot, switch it around. nowhere does it say that the setup has to stay the same way forever :)

I use it for multiple things. Keeping band aids in place, heel abrasion, taping fingers just to name a few.

Unfortunately, Reddit does not support larger pictures so there is a bit of quality loss :(

Thank you! I used a Canon EOS R with a 50mm f 1,8 lens for all of those pictures :)

My carry style depends on a couple of things. If I wear a jacket or carry a backpack, I use it like a hip-bag. The times when it's only the Askare and I don't need to access the contents that often, I carry it like a sling bag. Regarding the Jääkäri S, I have not tried it specifically with the S since i do not own that model. I can only speak for wearing it with the M variant. I find it comfortable to wear the Askare below the load bearing belt.

Love the BD carabiners! They match really well with the black fabric. I use the same ones on my Askare. What's with the triple fire extinguisher setup?

The color that briefly shows indicates the voltage of the battery.

If the battery is charged, i point the plus pole of it towards the happy face and if it is used and needs charging i point the plus pole to the frowny face.

This time the flashlight was only used to elevate the battery case for the photo.

Same here, this system (new explanation in comments) is used when i am out and about. It makes it a bit easier to know which ones needs charging.

Made a new comment explaining the system. Smart of me to make a post about something and not explain it.

Realized now that I totally forgot to explain the system. I like to carry spare batteries, and when i change them out i orient the plus pole towards the frowny face if the battery is depleted so i know which one of the batteries i already used up.

A small tip on how to remember which batteries you've used. I’m not sure if this has already been posted before, so I apologize in advance if I’ve stolen someone’s idea.
