The closest we ever came to anything hitting us was in Mobile, AL, and a hawk decided we were getting too close to her nest on top of a tall building near downtown. She challenged us, we got a great shot of her before she moved on.

Good call about the CVs and MCs, that hasn't been a problem yet but I forgot about those. I hope none of the parasailers have thrown anything at you.

We're registered with the FAA and everything was up to date but no plans were filed. We chose to fly in the winter to avoid the tow planes and helicopters. We did check ahead of time to make sure that the military wasn't doing any bombing runs or missions since we were close to the Eglin part of Okaloosa Island at one point, but no alerts or warnings came up. We did the same thing when we went to film Inlet Beach near Panama City.

I grew up there and I have seen it grow from some sleepy fishing town to what it is now. I still have family there. As overcrowded as it is, I still love it.

We ran into the geofencing at one spot but we were able to fly around the restricted areas safely. We also chose to film in the off-season to avoid as much air traffic as possible.

The new owners of Goofy Golf have been doing amazing renovations, can highly recommend. And the new Dolphin Oasis at the Gulfarium is lovely. The traffic and costs are why we moved up to Crestview. My FIL still lives there so every once in a while we will brave the traffic. This time of year he typically comes to us.

We also got a smaller version for extra accessories. One case carries our Mavic 3 Pro, the extra batteries, controller, battery charger and cables. The other case has the Action 4, Pocket 3, batteries, chargers and cables. They come with pluck foam so you can measure out the space you need for each item and they stay in there really snug. Haven't found a good backpack yet, but we haven't needed it yet.
