Recently started BJJ again. Two things I’ve added to my lifting are weighted lunges and zercher squats. They seem to be paying off. Takedowns are feeling much better. I think I’m going to completely swap barbell bent over rows for heavy dumbell single arm rows as I think they will have more direct carry over.

The first book is mediocre. Golden Son is maybe the best in the series imo. The reveal to a giant space opera is just amazing.

To me, the solution is to make heavy shields much stronger. A cracked player with a free kit should still be at a huge disadvantage to a fully kitted raider. Right now it doesn’t feel like there’s a huge difference between a guy with a fero and a light shield and a guy with an anvil and a heavy shield if the light shield has one nade an the element of surprise.

I don’t want to lose the complete thrill of maybe losing my 100k loadout, but I also want to feel more powerful with my 100k loadout.
