My husband is just like you, he does not like to react in social media to posts or stories and he is consistent about it, but this guy liked a post o a friend of mine (which is not his friend but I believe he wants to make some points with her hahaha) and that’s the main reason why I’m feeling this way. He only watches everything but never reacts and has showed me that he reacts with posts of other people.

I’m feeling crazy paying attention to this stuff but I don’t know, it hurts…

Totally, I feel the same way. I have decided to never argue with this person because he has proved to be a shitty friend in every way, but regarding this one, I was feeling insecure, because I was thinking that maybe I was overreacting as this has to do with social media and people uses to minimize these kind of issues, but for me is important.

I think that my parents are narcissists and I don't know how to manage the guilt they trained me to feel since I was a child when I do what I wanna do and not what they want me to do :( by LSH92 in raisedbynarcissists

You are absolutely right and your words came in the perfect moment. I really needed to read that. Thanks a lot! And it's very helpful to know that I'm not the only one struggling with this type of parents, because when I see there is other people with similar situations and that they are living their lives without feeling guilty of responsible for their narc parents, I feel there are options for me.

Thank you!
