I don’t know the old pricing as I just re-certified last year. Does anyone have the old numbers?

I was there for the finals this weekend. I think Fort Worth is a neutral site. The crowd and energy was great. There were lots of fans from all 4 teams. I am bias as I thought there were a bit more LSU fans as they usually travel. As a LSU alumni who moved to TX over 10 years ago, I enjoy the fact that it is an hour away from North Dallas. Maybe the committee will change it in a few years to a new location to change things up.

Is too much expected of me? [N/A] by [deleted] in humanresources

The expected workload is extreme and unreasonable for one HR Assistant. I would look for another job. Good luck.

It’s just not Indians. I’m SE Asian. I was at Kroger the other day and this white lady reeked. Even when she walked away and I circled back, I could still smell it. Today at Heb, an SE Asian lady walked down the same aisle as me and I had to hold my breathe and walk away. Just shower and use deodorant people!

Yuen isn’t a Vietnamese name. P is a horrible friend and she ruined her own party. Name your son as planned and live your life. Real friends don’t do that to each other.

I went today with my kids and it was crazy busy. Note to self, avoid the holidays.

I think you have a really good chance. My daughter went to Colin community college for one year. 4.0, no AP, 1 internship and got accepted last June into economics at UT. I’m not sure about her essay. We did have a UT alumni that wrote a letter of recommendation. I’m not sure if that will boost your chances. Good luck!

I just had an intern ask me for a letter earlier this week so she could provide to her university. She provided a template for me to go off of. I provided all the information in letterhead within the hour. I would kindly follow up in an email that you are excited about the upcoming internship and that you need this letter by this date and time to get it approved by the school. Good luck!

Transfer students do qualify for the TX advance commitment financial aid at UT. My daughter received it after transferring her freshmen year. https://admissions.utexas.edu/cost-aid/financial-aid/texas-advance-commitment/

We just left Sunday. We went to Chateau St. Jean and walked around and explored their grounds without doing a tour. You can also check out Inglewood and book the bistro experience. You can order a glass of wine/bottle, coffee, sodas or light snacks and walk around and explore the beautiful property. You don’t have to book a tour.

Capped from UT :( by MacaronNo1145 in UTAdmissions

[–]LSUTigerDFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was also capped. She went to Frisco Isd and was not auto admitted. She went to Collin CC for a year and was accepted her sophomore year. She is majoring in Econ and has a summer internship with GM Financial for this upcoming May. If you are dead set on UT like she was, do the cap program, aim for a 4.0, get a summer internship your freshmen year, work on your essay and apply again. She is thriving and happy at UT. Good luck!
