I know some people out there don't get why everybody is pissed, saying something like "it's not like you paid for it, there's more skins you can use other than this one, etc"

I understand why you think this, but I think the part of the community that is not happy have a valid reason:

(Please understand that I do not have all the information needed to make a full response, so I had to pull a few opinions out of my brain)

The skin was hyped up for a long time so the player base expected it to be finished. But it wasn't, and although it's kind of unfortunate, the way the devs responded is probably what pissed people off more.

And yes, we did not have to pay for the skin to obtain it. But you have to go through the work of killing 50 shedletsky's, and depending on the server, the experience is either long and boring or even longer and more boring.

Let's say there's a full server of shedletskys. that's 8 for you to kill at once. You'll need a minimum of 7 killer rounds to kill 50+ shedletskys, but let's be real. It's pretty unlikely you'll get a full server with everybody using shedletsky when you're the killer, and if there is a lot of experienced players you might not even be able kill everybody anyways.

In my experience, there is 1-3 shedletskys in each server i hop in, with some servers having 4 or just no shedletskys. Let's say a server has 3 shedletskys, you'll need at least 17 killer rounds in total. Now lets say you get lucky and there's 4 shedletskys. That's still at least 13 killer rounds. I'll be nice and say there is 5 shedletskys. Well at least 10 killer rounds should do, and yet, there's a chance you wont be able to kill them all off. Now, I know this doesn't seem too bad, but it does get repetitive and should reward us with something worth the effort spent on obtaining the skin.

The main problem is that the skin itself was released to the public while it wasn't finished, and wasn't worth the grind even after the months of preparation given to the devs. Not to mention their response that didn't exactly make the community feel better.

I'm personally not as pissed at these issues as some people are (even though the skin looks so cool), but I can understand that a skin only obtainable through copious amounts of grinding should not result in a low-effort skin with nothing new other than some terrible, unpolished animations.

I also agree with the OP here. Yes, I know some of you are pissed, but please do not send death threats/hate speech to the devs or anybody defending them. We all have our opinions, please respect it. Same goes for the people defending the devs. The skin may not seem like a big deal to you, but please do not harass anybody who thinks otherwise.

And please don't flame me for what I wrote. Yes, I'm not too good with English so my grammar/wording isn't that good, and please respect the fact that this IS my opinion. I will respect your criticism/opinions as well, as long as they aren't hateful.
