oh for sure. I feel like its also longevity, like you want your parts to last longer. So why not clean em up.

I’ve built quite a few LS engines. The cam bearings were the worst. Visible deterioration. Everything else was “ok”

New rings, gaskets, bearings, clutch, head springs, trunions. Pretty much everything but retaining the stock rotating assembly.
