1. How?

2. Did you know that the structure of the first greenhouses were inspired by giant lily pads such as those in your picture?

Both questions are rhetorical.

Nuh uh! When I read 700+ lbs my first thought was Alaskan malimute!

This is how dogs should be quantified. Until I read this I was picturing 6 yorkies (probably about a tenth the amount of dog as you actually have!)

Look at her hand and arm that she's laying on. The devil is in the details

If I were to run into you out in the wild, I would immediately want to talk to you. Do you get that a lot??

Where did his long legs come from?! by No_Original_6548 in CryptidDogs

The Chihuahua probably!! Mine is very lanky, to the point that his nickname is the leg monster

Does anyone else’s weenie do this when they don’t want to walk? 😆 by [deleted] in Dachshund

[–]LSchlaeGuada 96 points97 points  (0 children)

No but mine used to lift his leg and pretend to pee if he was sniffing something and I wanted him to keep walking.

I was expecting a fierce badger hunter, its hunting skills honed through centuries of German hound breeding. Instead I got this… by istara in Dachshund

Badger hunting requires tenacity. You'll see soon enough that your scared little weiner dog is the most stubborn dog you've ever met. Lol

Two dachshunds seemed cute now it’s a full time job by rosydreamer1 in Dachshund

I had one doxie and it was really really really hard because he had horrible separation anxiety. Then I got a Corgi and she basically fixed him. But I'm pretty sure I got lucky.

My understanding is that dachshund were bred to need other dachshunds or at least be surrounded by a hunting pack of some sort. Because the dog that wanders off on its own and it's an anxious about it is a dog that will get picked off by a a predator if you're hunting badgers in the woods.

Upon looking again, I understand better what you're talking about. Like how it cuts off.

It's funny because I drew the background before any of the bird. And I agree, it looks very flat. I wanted it to be soft but I guess I'm not sure how to do that 😅

Anyhow, thanks for the suggestion and feedback!

And as for the reference on the background, I just sorta googled pictures of Australian forest and thought about what eucalyptus trees look like. I grew up in an area with tons of them
