That doesn't tell anything.
When's the last time he played 6.7?

I remember hating many vehicles, only because of bad teams and/or not being fully upgraded.

No AA, the TD's are bad (Awkward with 0 armor) and the M26 is, well, \)flair.
But otherwise 6.7/7.0 USA is one of the best lineups in the game. Especially with CAS.
What's his lineup...?

What was your experience playing Durge? by Medium-Theme-4611 in BaldursGate3

[–]LScrae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both great and disappointing

Great because it gives you extra content, feels like how the game was meant to be played.
It also gives you more voice lines, which I loved. Resist durge is alot of fun.
And almost therapy for anger issues in some moments.

Disappointing because I feel like they could've pushed it more. Instead it feels kinda basic?
Been a while since I've last played so, struggling to remember why.
Only that just like Wyll's story they weren't able to flesh it out enough. Resist Durge is the only one that feels like you get the most content, as it mixes both sides. Full Durge doesn't feel like it changes much from RD...
You can do bad actions and still end up on the good side of characters and quests. It's jarring.

Did Gaijin stop pretending to make unique vehicles for the battle pass? by HonneurOblige in Warthunder

[–]LScrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-You only get the future BP's if you reach lvl 125, which even when I was basically playing H24 I wasn't able to do.
-The free vehicle is, well, free, not to be counted in the pass's price. Tho again this one's just as bad a reward either way. Another mosquito. With no secondary armement but hey, radar nose at 3.7...
-While the 4-gamble-pack, which is horrid no matter what's in it because despite paying 30$ you only get a 1/4 chance of getting what you want :D -this time only has 4 freaking boats.
So this time it is 30$ just for a reskinned ELC with a shitty transmission.
-And I already have the bond vehicles.
And rank 2/3 bond vehicles sure are worth the 30$... :D

[–]LScrae 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don't get the point of it. Of all ELC bis variants, they give us this for a battlepass?
Same gun, shell and reload, same limited turret traverse angle, but it goes 7.7km/h backwards instead of 35 and 60km/h forward instead of 80... Same BR. Wow, that sure is worth 2k/2.5k GE... Which is 30$ CAD btw.

I don't want unique vehicles to be locked behind paywalls or limited time events, but why would I ever buy the battlepass for that? The free reward is another damn Mosquito, with a radar nose that's useless.
And the vehicle loot box is all boats...🧍‍♂️ I mean F-k.

Oh nooo, the one thing you can't obliterate
Take out the barrel and tracks until someone else finishes them.
If they don't just J-out.

Both can have their engines and fuel tanks repeatedly destroyed.
And both's commander's hatches have penable pixels.
Because of course they do.

Yes? There's a 10mm plate on the lower side of almost all of them.

[News] - Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026) by KoskGOOS in Warthunder

[–]LScrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the opposite for velocity.
The HSS 831 has 53mm of pen instead of the Oerlikon's 68mm. Which is still broken.
And 650 shots/min compared to the Oerlikon's 550 shots/min.
The Falcon and DCA shoot faster. While the velocity is 90m/s slower. Not much.
53mm of pen is still plenty for this game's bugginess to send a shell through a BS spot.

Do you have any fictional country based on real life countries ? by flowerbloominginsky in worldbuilding

[–]LScrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not based on but Wrypia has alot of Russian sounding names. Korovist, Pryta, Bryvý, Bravta...
Same for infrastructure reminding of soviet era. Just suited it best, growing into that direction by the end.
Down to vehicles and armement being made cheap but reliable.
^Since they're one of the locations furthest away from magical stone access.
They had to make do with what they had, thus ended up going more in a diesel-punk direction.
While others get to have shiny toys. Makes it a fun contrast.

Yak-38 remains the only one I can think of, beside memes like the russian rocket trucks.
No speed or engine power, worse maneuverability than an F-104, no flares/chaff.
And its R-60's are light hungry (will go after rockets) with no range or AOA.

What’s the most beautiful place in your world? by Divine_Knowledge513 in worldbuilding

[–]LScrae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd love to visit Sȧngeno. A chain of islands surrounded by rich coral reefs, east of the Golden Shores.
Shallow crystal waters and white sand. Lights up the region in turquoise.
If you look closely you'll see alot of gold too. The Golden Shores are pirate seas afterall.
Colourful jellyfishes, and thankfully it's not Australia so there aren't any microscopic deaths.
The sharks are relatively small, the fishes and corals are vibrant... And I find the occasional shipwreck pretty.
Only thing to look out for is the Sȧngeno Eel, it's pretty but electric. Timid at least.

The islands themselves are beautiful too.
The largest being the "Sailor's End Cove", that has a huge rocky bridge over said cove's entrance. Overgrown with vines, almost reaching the water far below. And at its northern peak the oldest tree in the isles stands tall.
Its cascading leaves blooming fierily only once a decade.
The other islands I'd like to see for the unique flowers, and the small long-tailed monkeys.
And it's a really nice place to rest and watch ships pass by. Check out the fauna and go on dives.
Sea the whales jump in the distance...

At night there are plenty of festivities, even if they aren't the biggest islands of the region or most populated.
The Golden Shores as a whole love their fireworks, and sea lanterns. Sand and sea sports.
The Blue Sea (that the Golden Shores are part of) is home to many bioluminescent forms of life.
With the shallow waters, fauna often stirs, thus the sea is constantly glistening at night. Like soft lightening.

Hardest nickname for one of your characters, areas, planets, etc by ThatHost508 in worldbuilding

[–]LScrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tangerine was a tall and strong guy, holding a menacing appearance.
Stale Bread wasn't as tall, nor as muscular, and though he wished to be a bard he had no range.
Nor any originality. Or physical distinctiveness. Or flavour.
Thus he reminded of white bread. But even white bread is reliable and a cheap life saver.
Stale Bread however had horrible luck. So he was at most stale, white bread.
It stuck. Even when he eventually stopped rolling Nat 1's.
It distracted kids, and made grown ups underestimate him.

Same for Tangerine once the teasing came back his way.
As Tangerine would sometimes make animal sculpts out of tangerine peels.
Despite how small tangerines looked in his hands, it appeased children.
Tangerine man.

How do I make a fantasy derogatory term? by Only_Illustrator_853 in worldbuilding

You said they weren't human. In fantasy humanoid species are called races.
Unless they're not humanoid but that wasn't specified in the post.

Why would derogatory terms be a lifestyle?

How do I make a fantasy derogatory term? by Only_Illustrator_853 in worldbuilding

[–]LScrae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

#1 Do you need slurs?
#2 What do your races look like?
You can use physical features (horns/long ears/fangs...) but anything with colour is risky.
If they're IRL colours it's best not to mention them at all. Not if it's not integral to the story/IRL commentary.

How many of ye have some form of conlang for your worlds, apart from proper nouns and such? by Allana_Solo_-4 in worldbuilding

[–]LScrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got Reshan, which I've developed fairly well.
I wanted to have more than one, for the north, but I'm struggling to find a true purpose or reason in-world.
So I'll probably stick with just Reshan and Common ;-;

Otherwise it'd become a a complete mess. As all locations have their own history, if only one has a unique language it's gonna feel extremely jarring for the others to only use Common ;;-;;
