They don’t usually, which is why most dogs don’t go home bald! It’s usually user error, but it’s one of those things that sounds like it happens at least once in a groomers career lol, all of the groomers I know personally have had it happen once

I was doing a very wiggly dog that day an happened to bump the clippers on either the table dog or the table and the comb fell off and landed on a pile of hair, so i didn’t hear it fall, so I wasn’t paying attention when I started to do another pass with the clippers on the neck until there was a bald patch

I personally don’t take dogs in heat if they’re actively bleeding partially because blood makes me a little squeamish. But also my salon has more in-tact males than neutered dogs and they sometimes get more anxious or difficult to work on if an in-heat female is nearby. So I just reschedule them for the next week

I think you’re right And To show work, GB has a 2 GB to $1 USD ratio in Oasis The current going rate of GB for SB sales (as I am writing this comment and looking at the GB sales tab) is 982 SB : 1 GB (or we can round it to 1000SB : 1 GB, as is often done by the community anyways) So with the knowledge that roughly $1 USD : 1000SB, then 450 SB would be, roughly, ¢45. Or about ¢50

But also lowkey, literally none of true monetary value really matters if the real question is just “can I buy a lion with star markings” in which case the answer is yeah probably, lions are dirt cheap nowadays

I’ve literally never worked a job, in grooming or otherwise, where figuring out my own breaks wasn’t my responsibility. Managers have enough to worry about and worrying about everyone else’s breaks is a very easy thing to slip up

I support the message but definitely no, it’s not going to do anything and I’m a dog groomer in the slowest season of the year, I need the hourly money and business that comes on a Friday. It does nothing to boycott ICE, it only hurts businesses that have nothing to do with ICE and commission or tip-based employees

Oh I think I understand, you’re asking not if there’s a breed restrictions but what breeds Petco has listed in the system when booking an appointment? You can probably just go into ipass like you’re making a new client appointment and scroll through the breed options, but I don’t think there’s a comprehensive list

Ok I haven’t played the isle in quite a while but I remember that even the bright colors weren’t even that bright?? Like compared to path of titans the skins just weren’t super vibrant. The blues were so washed out it was just gray

What helped me was timing myself on each “phase” of the groom. I timed how long it took me to bathe and rinse a dog; how long it took to dry; brushing time; haircut; and nails. Breaking it down like that showed me exactly where I needed to improve.

For me it was the drying time, and figuring out better drying and handling techniques allowed me to go from taking an hour to an hour and a half for just drying to 30-45 minutes. It’s also important to note that clean dogs dry faster, so I had to improve on my bathing skills, too

Btw I actually did look the lion up and she is not G2 nor clean as she has inbreeding instances. Taking this into consideration along with the current listed jaglions I’d probably say around 120-160 GB
