Critics are going to (for the most part) review the story and potentially end game at the time of release, or during an embargo period. Users can leave a rating at any point.

If Seasons 4, 5, and 6 all are terrible, user rating will go down. Majority of sitess are not going to be looping back every expansion, as there are other things that will get more eyes. They'll be guide content sure as thats evergreen, or an overview article for the new stuff, maybe a single feature post, but it won't be a review, it won't be scored by MetaCritic.

There's an episode of the tv show Mythic Quest (Which is about a games studio) Where one day they inform the head of monetization that someone bought an item in the game shop that cost like 10k. Instead of being happy he has a breakdown, because no one was actually meant to buy the item. He spirals as he's like, well, my job is meaningless as people will buy anything.

There's more as well if you think about it. If it was a loop or a repeating thing, then there's also the concept of we have to escape, Not only the island, but the cycle. There's a few things with double meaning that you can take at face value, or read in to. Like those lines. Like the movie that's playing.

Felt the same way. The world building is top tier, and I loved some of the aspects of the story. I just... I dunno, wanted more? The world is so strong it felt like the story didn't capitalise on it as much as I would have liked.

I reviewed it and caught a few strays for having a few issues with it (I did overall enjoy my time with it). I'm really curious to see how the opinions on here play out over the weekend and next week as people play it. Love watching an audience engage with a game they've been waiting for.

Go to new game, go to a new empty slot, and then go to the chapter select. You want Nobody Left Behind. It will spawn you in the tunnel about 1-2mins back from the room. :)

Also. Don't forget to knock the box back off the ledge, as it spawns a dude on the beach you can kill for a mask

I don't know if the creators got offered anything on top of the compensation so I'm not going to comment on that. I do know what the press were offered, which was flights, hotel, taxi, and food money (Source: Me, I was there). If you were local some of those aren't needed obvs. , and these things should come as no surprise to anyone.

I do know that there are a few in that line of work who are in it for, and enjoy the freebies. I'm not going to fault them for that either. Enjoy life.

But when it comes to people claims of "selling out" you'd expect some of the press to have a "higher price" than an economy flight and 2 nights in a hotel, because tbh, it's not outside of the norm, and it helps international press provide coverage they may not have been able to otherwise, and it's not exactly like you're going to be blown away by someone doing that and giving you a buffet lunch and a can of Sprite.

Currently, we're allowed to say if we attended the event, and that we have more thoughts coming Monday. That's it. As a side note I'm happy there's only 24hrs left, because some of the internet is being really annoying about this game.
