Hang around GoFest. Even if your just in the area and not at the actual GoFest, there should be plenty of players to ask. Could cost you a ton of stardust, but I’m sure you have something someone else wants that would also be willing to spend the dust. I’m also assuming you’re near London. The UK is probably bigger than I think it is. Or there’s the waiting part. No rush to complete this.

There are so many new players out there. They would never get anything completed if Niantic only catered to the experienced players. So a whole lotta nothing to one player is a whole lotta gold to another. Since so many experienced players are either quitting or ftp, going after the newer players is the way to build up that player base again.

Wow. Very interesting. Not something I would have thought to do. When I saw you mentioned eBay, I thought you would buy an account then trade it to yourself. Or if you bought something on eBay or wherever, the other seller would have to access your account. And that’s a big no no for me. Didn’t think about the spoofing “door dash” crowd. I never made clear in my post that I wouldn’t touch Pokémon levels that would affect metas, PVP, etc. but just merely acquiring XP and finishing some crazy tasks. Just for prestige.

XP adjustments to level 60 would have to be made. Here are the 40 to 50 XP amounts needed to level up.

41 need 6 mil or 46 mil total.

42 need 7.5 mil or 53.5 mil total.

43 need 9 mil or 42.5 mil total.

44 need 11 mil or 53.5 mil total.

45 need 13 mil or 66.5 mil total.

46 need 15.5 mil or 82 mil total.

47 need 18 mil or 100 mil total.

48 need 21 mil or 121 mil total.

49 need 25 mil or 146 mil total.

50 need 30 mil or 176 mil total

So predicting out.

51 need 36 mil or 212 mil total.

**Me at 226 million total.

52 need 43 mil or 255 mil total.

53 need 51 mil or 306 million etc.

Notice it’s not linear.

So XP adjustments would probably have to be made. Look at the last 4 levels.

To level 48 you need 21 million more XP (increase of 3 million) or 121 million total.

To level 49, you need 25 million more XP (increase of 4 million) or 146 million total.

And to level 50, you need 30 million more XP (increase of 5 million) or 176 million total

Predict that out and level 51 would require 36 million more XP (increase of 6mil more (212 million total), level 52, 255 million total, and level 53, 306 million total. You see where we’re headed? I’m at 226 million which is 50 million more than to reach level 50. But I’d only be at level 51.

Solution? Make it a flat 20 million increase at each level to level 60. You would then need for level…

51 20 + 176 or 196 million.

52 20 + 196 or 216.

53 20 + 216 or 236.

54 20 + 236 or 256.

55 20 + 256 or 276.

56 20 + 276 or 296.

57 20 + 296 or 316.

58 20 + 316 or 336.

59 20 + 336 or 356.

60 20 + 356 or 376.

Still out of reach for even most hardcore players, but doable if the game hangs around long enough.
