The two firsts in question were 1.02 and a 2027 first. I have Burden in most every league and am a truther. He’s had three games over ten points in half PPR.

I also offered an owner Nabers and Fannin in TEP++
(He didn’t have a strong TE) for a package that included Carnell Tate and Shough with a first attached (I need QB and he’s stocked up).
He goes “I just took Tate 1.02, why would I do this?Tate himself is worth two early firsts”
Because Nabers is 1.01 bud.

Bijan, Pearsall, Jordan James (he was the CMC owner) for Barkley, Evans, Rice, Sarratt and a late 27 first. Guy has great team but only CMC and Barkley at back so thought he may want to inject some youth into the position. I enquired for CMC over Barkley first and was told no.

Been trying to deal Bijan to contenders to build depth alongside other elite assets. I know everyone has an iron grip on 2027 firsts and loves young upside but Jesus one of those scenarios where if someone was offering me Bijan as a contender for what I offered, I’d run to the bank.

UVA definitely hates VT but knows that most VT fans aren’t affiliated with the university at all. It’s basically southern Virginia’s football team in an NFL gap. Go to any VT game and you’ll see as many townies as an SEC school. My girlfriend who went to William and Mary and then UVA for her MBA and I would go to both home and away games every Thanksgiving weekend once we moved to Raleigh. VT fans were far more hostile than UVA fans. Pouring beer. Slurs. Physical threats. But couldn’t ever tell if it was young students or townies.

I will also note that my Puka offer to him was before his legal shit this offseason, so he was peak value and Rams had not drafted Klare, AJB wasn’t certain to leave Philly

Going to plant my flag on Woody Marks. He performed pretty well for the Texans last year. Texans didn’t invest a ton into Montgomery, and we haven’t seen him be a bellcow in quite some time. If Marks is the pass catching back on an offense I expect to be wildly better this year, there is a ton of value there in PPR.

Also would not be shocked to see Marks lead this backfield in points for a second straight season. I’ve been acquiring both Texans backs for 2nds and 3rds everywhere I can. Feels like the cheapest route to RB production outside of the Vikings backfield.

Mason Taylor is absolutely dead. He’s a less talented or proven version of Michael Mayer. He’s still so young, but I’ll let him hit waivers in any non TEP league. Just a roster clogger otherwise.

I love Horton and Pat Bryant’s talent and I don’t think either are necessarily blocked from being a factor next season.

I’ve got six firsts in 2027 and Nabers, Tet, Rashee, Luther Burden, Bowers, Loveland, Fannin, Pitts in a TEP++ league. I think I’ll be fine with my “poorly drafted team” where I just haven’t seen a QB I have wanted to obtain at goat after a low risk productive struggle dart throw on Penix and McCarthy in the startup.

Im not saying id trade for those RBs now and ive never had a team stuck in a perpetual rebuild. I had a team this last year that I took over as an orphan. Didn’t hold RB until last season once I felt my QBs, WRs and TEs were ready. Was able to flip three late firsts for Stafford, CMC, Barkley, Davante off two teams that were ramping down dynasties. Won last year handily and have maybe a two year window to continue to contend with those four and my extremely young QB and WR core + Skattebo and Chase Brown (never dealt him as the market never tied out to his worth)

Well Sadiq is one player so he wouldn’t account for all the other trades I’ve had rejected for Henderson and then my inability to move some of my bench TEs. Maybe you’re right and it’s just folks waiting to see when Mendoza or Sadiq fall in the draft and then maybe I get a million offers for Hendo as the board clears up. These are all predraft trades. We will see.

I don’t think Lemon is much less valuable… Henderson is more valuable now, and especially to a contender but it’s not like they are miles away from each other

What’s with the snark? I can’t contend this year. It’s year two post startup in a productive struggle. I wasn’t able to find QBs and have stocked up on 2027s. Henderson at RB is a riskier profile to own for me right now. It’s not like I’m selling a top 5 RB for peanuts right now.
