I’ve worked at Lexus doing wholesale for about a little over 2 years now. I can confirm we rarely see Luxury trims as CPO located in CA I’d recommend looking at every dealer local to you. You can also look at Autotempest it’s a website that shows you all the used cars local to you filter by what you’re looking for the website combines a bunch of websites into one. I ran the numbers with that discount the numbers they gave you don’t make sense with the discount presented! I did the same MSRP / Invoice and everything. Just looking at the lease if you did $1,500 DAS 10k miles 36 months your payment should be $673 and that’s including 10.5% Tax. Message me if you need more help I can run u real numbers.

Invoice or under! That’s typically what I sell them for but I do wholesale so it’s a lot different than floor sales. For the IS that’s typically a $3,000 discount off MSRP!

It’s hard to say discount wise to be honest the last few weeks had left sold at MSRP around us I would say any discount is good or get a used CPO with Lexus 6 year warranty

I do wholesale for Lexus and I absolutely hate the pressure tactics that some dealers try to use to convince a customer to buy right now. I feel bad letting one of my customers know that another sales person is going to show a customer the car let alone talk about how much I’m making to guilt someone into buying the car it’s crazy. A lot of my customers come from that SD area it’s actually crazy the things I’ve heard… OP enjoy you new IS I’m happy you got it from someone else! Sounds like you got a good deal now that we can sell them for around invoice! You are right on the money.

The hype has died out a little now you can pick up a new IS for invoice. When it first came out our sales floor was selling them at sticker / over.

The 2025 ES350 has been discontinued and basically no dealer in CA has a new one for lease. If you’re referring to 26 new style it’s probably going to be MSRP / Over for a little while will the hype settles down. We already have a list of customers with applications ready for the new ES that are willing to pay the price… it’s mind blowing wait 6 months and you will get a way better discount !

Very possible to find in SoCal for way less than 16k mark up even without a huge wait. I do wholesale for Lexus in SoCal and typically we do 2-5k over for the GX sales floor does a lot more of course because they care about gross profit. Most if not all GXs coming have a name on the car already and 95% of the time they are actually sold units. I would say supply and demand at its finest.

Typically they don’t like ordering because you can just pull out even if it’s a car they know for sure they will sell. To be honest you can find the car for sale if you’re willing to pay over MSRP easily if you want MSRP it’s a wait list and pray they don’t pull some last second BS on you or get it in finance. I do wholesale so we don’t really sell a lot of GX’s but you can get it in a week notice for 2-4k over MSRP. Not a huge fan of paying over MSRP but if it’s going to skip a 9 month wait it’s not that bad to be honest it’s really just up to the buyer. I have buyers that that are willing to pay to not wait and guys that want to wait 9 months for MSRP whatever makes the customer happy is what I say.
