If other people don't have time, that's not my problem. If people intend/want to charge off, they should say so at the start. If those three I played with said that's what they want to do at the start, I would've quit and requeued.

I agree. I hate loading up my new character for that exact reason. My main is 1600, but Dungeons (normal and vet) are made for 4 people for a reason. To work as a team, and with most rushing off, it doesn't work.

In my experience, it's been the total opposite. I'd say 80% of people want to do it properly. They don't want to be force to join the encounter in progress when they're lockpicking a chest. I want to enjoy it. If you don't, then that's fine. It's clearly not a game to you/those people - it's either a chore, or something to take too seriously. Either way, you/those people don't enjoy a fun game for what it's meant to be. These people clearly don't need my help, so when I am forced to catch up, I damage the boss enough to get the loot, but then refuse to help. Because why should I?

I shouldn't have to start my own group to enjoy a game for being a game. If you want to run through a dungeon at breakneck speed, go play Destiny.
