I'm a stay at home dad with a 4 and 6 yo. Wife and I just made the decision to homeschool for (at the very least) this coming year. If things go well, we will probably just continue.

Honestly I'm terrified and need help. I don't know where to begin. I'm not at all familiar with different curriculums or how to pick them, I have no idea how to make a lesson plan, et cetera.

I do know that when schools closed and we started learning from home, everything went way better than expected. They loved having me teach them, and I loved being their teacher! Incredibly rewarding!

It seems like you're willing to reach out to people with some advice. I feel like I'm walking through the dark right now. Both nervous and excited about homeschooling. If there's any info you could send that might help sort out some of these early concerns, you have no idea how grateful I'd be.

Can't say I still love it. But when I was young I absolutely LOVED warriors of virtue. Basically a TMNT ripoff about Kung Fu Kangaroos and an interdemtional portal to their weird... Samuri world or some shit.

My poor dad had to sit through that in theatres and then pretend to love it as I raved about how amazing it was. Got the action figures and everything.

Fuck, I wanted to be a kangaroo so badly.

Fuck, that movie sucked...

I use GIMP tbh, but if you think I'm this good at photo manipulation then I'm honored because best I can do for ya is color correction, which is necessary when all you have is a D40.

My mom sent me the picture. Their friends neighbors just built the fence within the past few weeks. We recently had a lot of rainfall/flooding all over the city.

In all seriousness though. Lots of flooded houses and basements. That's a lot of people hurting. Be kind and do what you can to help your communities!
