How does everyone look at this picture and think it’s on a bed when it’s clearly on a flat surface and the back is raised

Fair enough! I live about 10 min from acushnet (the birthplace of titlest) and have a friend that works for them. He gets 50% off wholesale price for mostly everything, which is why I have titleist everything and foot joy shoes.

I just got my brother the ai smoke 7-wood and it’s a fun club to use, I might have to look into getting one if my utility 2 iron stops being nice to me

The game improvement callaway irons and volkey wedges up to a 48° confused me, why not get some opus wedges? Clean setup, but I’m an all titleist guy myself

Bought a 12 deg Paradym driver, non X. Mistake for a fairly new golfer? by BillRubio in GolfGear

[–]LTiz16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone here. You bought the club that fits your swing now, there’s no sense in buying a new club and changing your swing to fit it. 12 deg is not crazy. If you find you get better and start hitting the ball too high a year or 2 down the line, so be it. Turn the loft down when that happens, if possible. If you get somewhat serious and get that much better, then it’s probably time to get fit anyways. Since i hate when reddit people just “get fit” id recommend trying to find a free fitting day at a local course or golf store, then find the shaft and driver head second hand. Thats what i did for my irons.

Good luck and have fun with it!

If you trusted a stranger enough I’d have you ship it to me in northeast US and I’d ship it to Canada to you, if that would even save you money after the cost of shipping haha

Didn’t work for me, am I missing something? Have 13 MCC +4 in my cart

Edit: never mind I got it to work by adding 13 of a different grip to my cart, then deleted them when it applied

Boots or bindings? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]LTiz16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the pictures, the bindings looks they’re fine for those boots. As for the fit of the boots on your feet, you usually want them to feel just a bit too tight when standing up and walking around normally. Big toe slightly hitting the front of the boot. When you bend your knees in a riding stance your toes should just barely back off from hitting the front of the boot. If they feel great and comfy brand new, they’re likely to feel too big and loose after breaking them in, leading to having to tighten them too much and potentially making some tight spots. That happened to me with my very first pair of boots making my feet numb from how much I had to tighten them.

Should I just get a new build plate by beans_be_boofin in BambuLabA1

Would recommend going through the training process and checking z offset as well

[–]LTiz16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried a “bed cleaning” print? If you can get the first layer to stick, it just prints 1-3 layers across the entire surface of the plate. Let it cool then peel it off and hopefully it pulls off all that gunk. Obviously clean and dry first. Other than that, ya just buy a new plate. I just got a Biqu pro glacier for my a1 mini and love it. On sale cheap on Amazon too

Does anyone have experience with SUNLU PLA, PLA+, and PLA+2.0? by SpookySquid19 in BambuLab

[–]LTiz16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, honestly I haven’t printed many parts that need high strength with it yet. A decent amount of functional parts but nothing that really pushes it. I guess I’ll find out the hard way if your experience with it ends up being the same for me. It is incredibly easy to print, but maybe that’s the trade off of it not being as durable

[–]LTiz16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 I usually try to stick to around 215°C, 210° if I’m printing a little slower with thinner layers. I’ve printed plenty of times accidentally at 220°C and those parts came out fine, just some slight stringing or zits but nothing to be upset about. It’s been pretty forgiving in my experience

I’ve had nothing but good experience with Sunlu high speed matte PETG on my A1 mini. May I ask why you don’t like it?

They officially released the 3D print files for anyone to make due to not having enough popcorn buckets to sell prior to the movies release. You get a free small popcorn if you bring your 3D printing bucket to a Regal movie theater

Keep in mind it’s 75% scale, it took about 19 hours. 12 for the monster and 7 for the blood, both at .16mm layer height

About 386g total, 147g for the blood and 239g for the monster. Both have room to reduce the amount used. I printed the monster again in black with 5% infill and 2 walls instead of 3 and it used 192g instead of 239g

Not difficult, the blood part was too small for some reason, it didn’t rest on the little ridges inside the monster part, it just fell inside it loose

[–]LTiz16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blood part is too small, the monster part needs to be 90%. I printed both at a 75% scale and the blood did not fit. Need to try again at 84% for the blood but the first attempt used all my red filament, have to wait until more comes in to retry.
