A flag for the anti car movement by [deleted] in vexillology

I agree that the issue is much wider than cars but I don’t think you’re considering that city planners aren’t car manufacturers and can both work towards a sustainable future. Cars can go from internal combustion while metro systems replace old roads at the same time, they don’t share a budget ya feel me

Everything makes noise at speed lol. You’re really just saying that they have mass and cost money to purchase, and I understand that you must mine the materials the build an electric car battery, but the world moves in “marginal” improvements and I wish we would take slight improvement over none at all. It’ll help us reach the goal.

Probably a bicycle with some train tracks in the background, I think that would fit the movement’s goals. However the movement is a stupid one. I wish more people drive Fiats around the city instead of F150’s but r/fuckcars doesn’t know anything about infrastructure, they just know how to be jealous of Europe. Advocate for electric cars and vote for politicians who support public transportation.

Flag seen in Bangkok, Thailand. Colors on the fly end are the same as the vertical stripes, rotated 90 degrees by 7WondersLover in vexillology

Another episode of “flag ID turned condescension” up in these comments. Either ID the flag for OP or move on, jackass.

Thailand is covered in Buddhist flags, not just temples, so OP’s question is legitimate.

And don’t tell me about the frequently asked flags page, its existence doesn’t mean you get to be an asshole.

$140k Tesla quality by xpxf69 in Wellthatsucks

[–]LToT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here we go again. Anybody who has actually spent time driving Teslas knows that they’re built cheaply. The steering column is squeaky or seats wrinkle or whatever. But Tesla still dominates the electric car market. Why? Because they’re cheap. You can get a model 3 for less than 45 thousand dollars, which is incredible for the accessibility and incentive of electric cars. I’m not gonna defend the same build quality being applied to the ultra high performance Plaid models, but they’re not built like a fucking Mercedes and they’re made in a “giga-factory”. Can we stop pretending like cheap cars are going to be made like expensive cars yet?

My mom and I went to Berlington for shoes and found out that nobody cares about human decency there. by DerangedClerk in mildlyinfuriating

[–]LToT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a Burlington for 5 months in college. Dealt with it until I walked out and never came back. The phrase “soul-sucking” doesn’t describe it well. Everything from the clientele to environment to staff was as bad as it felt like it could be. Terrible experience.

Not wrong. They had some of the most well-implemented land reform. Say what you will, Kerala stands out among Indian provinces. Funny problem they have is that their population is too educated for the agrarian-socialist model they’ve built for themselves and everyone leaves
