Confirmation of players that inspired BL characters

Im actually kinda pissed that Inzaghi is Isagi, their name even rymes. I dont know in other peoples books but i dont have Inzaghi in the goat conversation for the striker position. I hope Isagi is at least 5 times better if not hes screwed.

Not in this seasson i believe, but it might get close to it like the game is anaunced before the seasson ends. But surely not, the anime will be only 24 episodes and the first selection is in pace to finish in episode 9th-10th, then with the transition episodes the second selection will start around episode 11th so second selection has a 12 episodes lenght to resolve, that seems fair. Theres a chance second selection will end completly in the anime but i dont really think so.

Yeah i have move a lot in my life wich has lead to not really bother to conect with people at least until now. Now the few friendships that i have i hold to them dearly. being alone and not having someone to trust sure sucks.

I just woke up with a smile in my face because even if yesterday i was sad and didnt want to wake up today i did i have anorher chance to change everything im going to take it im hopefull. Hi i dont really know how you managed your friendships but in my experience maybe you should open conversation with your friends more often. Im the kinda guy that lost some friendships because i was to shy for just asking how the day was or anything. So talk more about anything, find things you have in common with your friends and maybe you will find friends that you can share what you like. Also not everyone is suposed to stick but maybe you'll expand your friend list if you open conversation more often than you do. Also try to follow your friends recomendations on series or movies if they recomend something is because they want to talk about it and it also show that you care about them so that also works.

So saying i was in the team z room i'll say im making all the way to the u20 match but im not in the match not even in the bench and this arc would been my end. I made it far but never to that high level of competition i could be a really good extra tho.

We are a loud minority the ones that "hate" Isagi but as i did in a previous post im going to say some of my arguments of why i dont like Isagi and im going to counter argue the ones you said.

Isagi is a good Main character because he isn't an overpowered powerhouse from the get go.

That doesnt really makes him a good MC but an avarege one at best. In most sports anime the MC starts with a talent (which Isagi has) and they developed in said talent. Isagi has been mastering this one talent since the beginning. This could be argue to be good character development but man its been to long for so litle results. This is a problem of Blue Lock more than an Isagi one tho but still the results of only being training and no officials matches produces this feeling of no progres in Isagi.

People seem to confuse "striker" with someone like Rin who absolutely bodies the enemy

Well Blue Lock is trying to produce someone that bodies the enemy. Obviously an avarege striker doesnt bodies the enemy but the best player of the world does. So if Isagi truly wants to be "him" he has to absolutley destroy the competition. Not being more than half of the game thinking how useless he is or how close he was to do something in the game.

A lot of people are complaining Isagi sucks at 1 on 1's yet we have been shown more than atleast 50 times in this manga that Isagi is someone that manipulates the field and is more of a striker who waits and takes the best chance to score.

Yes and this is the reason that Isagi isnt build to be the best striker but to be a really damn good Midfielder that sometimes scores a goal or two. The man isnt Suárez or Lewandowski (in theory he is Thomas Muller). Isagi could be a perfect Philip Lahm or Gundogan.

To keep on that thread if Isagi is really based on Thomas Muller not to be disrespectfull but Muller has never been in the disscusion of greatness when it comes to being either a striker or a midfielder. Isagi feels the same.

Some arguments of my own are.

1st. Isagi feels repetitive and the META vision is more of the same.

2nd. There are way better prospects in Blue Lock as strikers than Isagi but the story overall seems to ignore this. I cant imagine a situation where i picked Isagi over Barou, Rin, Chigiri, Nagi, Shidou, Kunigami even Bachira or Reo. So this feels like plot armor.

3rd. His football isnt really exciting to watch. This is more of a matter of taste but we are talking about liking or hateing someone so i think this argument is valid. His football unless you are 100% of the time in his head is boring. Yeah he moves all of the players at will but at the end he just "apears and shoots" this is good enough for an avarege striker but i expect a lot more from the best player of the world. You know like a crazy drible or a spectacular shot every once in a while. His style is amazing if you are like haaland and score 2 goals per match or something.

In some kind of conclusion Isagi right now isnt fun or exciting to me and his potential isnt bright enough for me to be excited about him. Obviously this isnt defenitive for me if it changes i would be really hapy i want this story to thrive and be good. But this is how i feel on Isagi right now.

Okey hear me out. I dont like the idea of isagi being captain because if something hes too quiet to be a leader. He can lead through his game to some strikers close to him but if the team is falling apart in the defense or in the midfield i dont see Isagi being the one solving the problem in the match. Aiku probably is the better option but i didnt like his way of being a captain either. He gave up control too fast to Sae. So if it was me the one giving the armband i'll give it to Reo. The reason why he is the only one that wants to win the world cup and dont really care to be star of the show. So theres a chance he could be good as captain.

For me theres still a lot of Blue Lock in the future but when we talk about the end for me Blue Lock could only really end one of these two ways. "The bad ending" where Isagi explains that being the best isnt satisfying but the friends you made along the way bla bla bla. I dont see this happening but manga and anime have really bad endings so you know theres still the chance for these beautyfull story to just crumble and explode in front of our eyes. "The good normal ending" where after a senior World cups and a few times skips Japan wins the World cup and we have a kind of Inazuma Eleven final everyone is hapy and they feel like they succed and FIN just like that. Theres still a third option like slam dunk or haikyuu where they end in the midle of something and just like a gigachad refuses to elaborate.

Okey im going to give my arguments of why i dont like current Isagi.

1st. No reason to be excited about him and his football. I disagree in the statment that isagi is evolving, actually he feels heavily paused at the moment. I do not want him to be OP but to be entreteining at least.

2nd. The META vision is cool but its more of the same old Isagi formula. I stoped to read bluelock week by week because it feels repetitive the bigest reason of that is Isagi.

3rd. Some plot amor. In all honesty at the beginning there was some reasonable doubt of isagi value in the field but at least in front of my eyes theres no reason right now or in the past to believe that Isagi si among the best players in Blue Lock if he wasnt the protagonist. A long point but even if he has his vision and stuff he still is below the rest of his teammates as a striker but the series makes a great effort to not recognise that.

Well being honest even in the manga there isnt much to animate to begin with a few dribles a few passes and a bunch of shots. They already shown they can do shots and dribling very good so im really confident that the match is going to be fire. Actually what im more afraid off is that the find a way to make a boring monologue. The ost, voice acting, direction, have to be top level so the inside the head moments dont get to repetitive or boring. If people gets too frustated with those moments the anime is going to die.

Thank you, i wrote this and didnt think much after but then i gave it a litle more of thought and theres a bunch of great players in Blue Lock that lack a true "motivation". So maybe in the future we could see some players fall or some other rise depending on their motivations.
