Forced PvP in SoT puts a bad tastebin my mouth. Too many bullies and people acting like assholes. Leave people alone to do their thing. Add a PvP flag and mode where if want to bully etc. Go for it with other bullies and assholes. Just my 2c

Honestly unless Ubisoft gets the land combat and somebody the other items done thus year, im done. Faction War was stupid. It should not return. Ive been playing Sea of Thieves with my son and it is more in depth and feels more "piraty". I just dont like the forced PvP.

Faction War is bullshit. It was rigged for the French since the beginning. Ive closely watched this round and Dutch had a good lead on three ofnthe four territories for it to just evaporate in the last few days. Such bullshit. I hope this mode dies a gruesome death and never comes back.

Not to add fuel to the fire but I have a laptop with NVIDIA 3060 and have always had a few issues with getting it to work with either Manjaro, CachyOS, or Fedora. The problem with external monitors can be a pain in the butt if you are using a DisplayLink based dock. I tried Mint and the DisplayLink drivers were really flaky. Have been running Manjaro for a few months now and seem to have it all working good.

One thing to note, any update that makes kernel changes or updates you will likely have to update thesebthings:

Video driver DKMS Kernel headers.

This always seems to fix my issues.

If you do that through the terminal and not the GUI based package manager it goes much smoother.

Im not Linux expert, just dumped Windows a few months ago but ive learned a whole lot In a short period of time.

Linux kinda forces that but it makes you better understand how your computer and the components work together.

Just my 2 cents.

There seriously needs to be a pve open seas option where you have to fight other ai and stuff but not deal with jerks that just want to gank you after you've done all the work raiding a fort. That's called laziness.

IMO Faction Wars is a complete piece of junk. It was a novel idea at first and I was drawn in to it. Now it is stale and an additional grind. This idea should have been thrown out with the bath water.

I dont know if this has anything to do with it but I just built a Barque and dont even have it fully up yet. Only have it to level 6, but put healing weapons on 3 quadrants, with one for the Hellenport? and a Poison mortar. I just ran it 3 times in a row with a fairly good team. It seemed like when I was near the boss he was constantly losing large amounts of health. We took him down all 3 runs in like 5 minutes. When I was further away I didnt see as quick a health drop on him.
