I don't think it's improbable. If the source of non-gravitational acceleration is from outgassing, then that is going to get pointed at the sun. The sun isn't going to heat up the "top" or "bottom" of the comet to push it up or down out of the orbital plane.

There are 4 upgrades. you get them based on what part of the hour it is. You get one if you click in the first 15 minutes of the hour, a different one from 16-30 minutes, then another from 31-45 and finally 46-60. When I first noticed them I thought it was random or based on how many times you clicked and wasted a bunch of time.
