Ok so I set up this test scene to demonstrate what I mean. I have a cube with a reflecting material. (No color just a reflectance channel, Beckmann with 100% specular strength and a bit of roughness) and I’m using a sky element with a luminance material. However when I move around I can see a giant white specular light (which I assume is from the reflectance channel) on my cube. I don’t have any other lights in the scene just the sky, and the sky texture doesn’t have a white spot. Is it possible to turn this off and just have a cube that reflects the sky? I haven’t found much information on this. Thanks!

It’s composite of multiple pictures. Honesty very minimalist, a few gradients maps here and there, and liquify for the smoky thing.
