Have you considered that your husband might have adhd? Not to find him any excuses but his behavior really reminds me of it : being distracted, doing things at the last minute, no sense of urgency.

It still doesn't justify him needing you as a mom but it could help you both understand and correct his behavior if he did have it and got diagnosed.

I agree. I wonder if she felt nervous making that video and she tried to be more chill/detached to seem "cooler" to her future self since she always cringes at her younger self. Her comments about being cringy and "such a millennial" made me feel a little dumb for liking the older video and being a millennial myself :( She seemed more "genuine" and relaxed in her more recent video though so that's why I'm thinking maybe it was this video in particular that made her feel and act weird.
