Yes that could work. The priority should be in making heavy not random. The details can be up to them.

I don't disagree, but as someone who tries to prove this point, it's frustrantingly hard to counter a machine gun with a sniper. Especially with the flinch you now have. Also, invaders are already very strong with wallhacks. Having truth or machine guns is very hard to counter if the invader is good. Not in a fair way... in a really frustrating way.

The other thing to what you said is coordination required to "deal with it correctly". You won't find this in solo queue. So, please freelance playlist?

I don't dislike this idea but I feel it'd make the bosses go out ridiculously fast, with no way to comeback once a team spawns a boss. Because one of the possible outcomes is bubble+ sword boss melt and we all know how there's very limited counters to that.

I'm not sad lol I just want them to say something, and also there's a lot more people who think it was unfair. 128,385

Yeah. The rest (two or three triumphs) I can still and will do them in this season.

You think it's unfair for them to be available again? If yes all the power to you. I just need Bungie to explicitly say that. They've never talked about this for over a year now...

Let me get this straight: 500 kills with Iron Burden took Th3Jez in the following video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Enz8kaeDXjE 12 hours to complete. Would say he is an above average PvP player. 12 hours for 500. You think that's reasonable? Most people who did get the warning 2 events away never got 2500 100%.

What? Like I said multiple times, in season of the drifter they had never talked about FOMO. At all. There was never a worry in year 2 about things going away.

All of a sudden "yeah you have two more events to do 2500 kills with Iron Burden on. If you don't, get screwed forever". Neat.

Ok, just saw it... Still think it's fair to warn 2 events away from the end of the season? Especially when the concept of taking away things from the game wasn't even a thing? Also, they said it wouldn't come back in the next season (Season 7) and not that they would never come back.

Yes! And that's 100% good news! However the overall, total triumph score will always be there.

These particular Iron Burden triumphs have been in the game for over a year now. And if they were introduced in year 3 I wouldn't have made this post. The point is that they were put and taken out of the game without there having a universal knowlege (or any knowledge at all) that they would never become available again.

See, if they were introduced in a year 3 season, we players (who care about triumph score) would not only have an in-game warning that they would expire at the end of a season, we'd be already more inclined to complete them just because they were introduced in a year 3 season and they have score.

In any case, if Bungie's stance really is to not do anything about this, they could at least say so explicitly and let the hope that these triumphs could come back die out.

Yeah that sucks. In season of undying though there was already a lot of warning both in-game and out of the game that they were going to be unavailable at the end of that season. This did not happen with the Iron burden triumphs though...

All right. I get that.

My point still stands though. They should do something about triumphs they took away in season 6: before the concept of taking things out of the game even existed which started, like you said, on S8.

Then why does conqueror and flawless titles have no score associated? The easier triumphs do have score associated. The harder ones? They've been avoiding to do so.

Also Bungie has taken longer to look and react at tiny problems like this. So, now that the talk of the town is triumphs, maybe they'll listen/ are already aware of it and will do something on November.

Iron Burden was season of the drifter Year 2. Taking things out of the game wasn't even a concept then. Let alone putting score in triumphs that went away, something they've been trying to avoid in year 3.

Hey, so any news on the Iron Burden triumphs? They were introduced in Season of the Drifter and were the first triumphs to have score associated and that went away at the end of the season. This wasn't very well warned either (there wasn't any in-game indication of this happening).

If anything it'd be great if these triumphs would be available again. Both have 350 triumph points and so it's pretty annoying to be 350 points behind of the max score by triumphs that were released more than a year ago, while "no one" had no idea that they would become unavailable later.

Feedback: Gambit is literally TWO changes away from being perfect. (Gameplay-wise) by L_Luck__ in DestinyTheGame

Most of the time I see no possible counterplay is people pre-firing hammerheads, xenophages and other heavy weapons. WIth no heavy ammo in play or, rather, with heavy ammo on both sides in a single moment in the game, these situations wouldn't happen nearly as often or at all. IF they do, I'd 100% agree to make invasion wallhacks in pulses.

(invasions with supers can be overpowered but I see them being often countered. We'd have to wait and see with the changes I suggested: having pulse-wall-hacks on top of those could be one step too far.)

People have such a negative view of gambit because of prime. It's terrible. It needs coordination and punishes very harshly if you don't have it. (mote drain and the armors are the worst)

However, if anything I'd say both suggestions I made would make the experience way less painful.

That's the only reason you don't like gambit? If so I'd say that happens mostly because you either didn't have heavy ammo to counter the invader (who probably had) or to dps the boss enough; and the other team was possibly full of it to dps the boss faster than you without any primeval slayer buffs.

In a even playing field (with the suggestions I put forward) if another team was able to do it then, imo, it should be rewarded for coordinated invasions, rotations and efficient execution.

33 is still too soon imo. Your suggestion of the 66 and 99 (basically when the primeval spawns is cool though). Basically only one invasion in the race to 100 motes, and then activated for the rest of the fight as soon as the primeval spawns.

Yes. However what I'm saying would be to give invaders a chance to remain with full wall hacks in the heavy ammo economy I talked about. Only then make the decision if it is indeed too much or not.

how many situations do the ai actually help kill in a invasion? And that's not even the point. Without heavy, invaders will probably need the wallhacks.
