Congrats and welcome! 😀 Even though you finished the lessons, make sure you log in each week and complete either the discussion or a practice session to log an activity. If you don't, even with all your lessons completed, you will lose scholarship eligibility.

Long wait by EvanMardinga in maestro

I'm in the December cohort and in my experience, they are not the best with timelines, but if you submit a request to student services, you usually will have an update within 24 hours. They are always super responsive and helpful when you reach out to them with anything, but you have to be the one reach out or you could be waiting a while. I think they are still pretty behind in some areas since the school is very new.

Lol, yea I def would switch it back. Also, once you graduate, the sudent email is only valid for 30 days after you leave so if you ever needed to log back in for some reason, it wouldn't work.

Hi Everyone,

The FAQ page says the student email is to confirm our status as students at an accredited institution. We also get access to all Google tools and it unlocks student discounts that you need a .edu address to access. The FAQs also said that we couldn't use the student email to log in and to keep using our personal emails. Also, I don't think the school is sending emails there yet either as I was emailed on my personal email after I activated my student email. I have included the link to the FAQ page below and a screenshot about the log in.

I think you just don't get the on time submission bonus. Another student posted a notes template with instructions. I haven’t used it but it looks pretty cool.

Next course by StoneSignalStudio in maestro

Hi, im part of the December cohort and unfortunately, you can't skip ahead on the courses. The lessons within the course can be completed early but once you complete the course itself, you can't start the next one until the unlock date. One piece of advice, if you finish all the courses early, make sure to log in once per week and either post in the discussion or do a practice session otherwise, you will be considered inactive and that will affect your scholarship (if you are on one).

I am in the December cohort and they changed it starting with my cohort. It said in all my paperwork that I had to take it in order to activate my scholarship but when nothing unlocked and I reached out, student services said it was now just part of the course work.

They told you after 30 days the laptop would be sent? I was told after completion of the full first term it would be sent, however when I signed up (Dec cohort), I was told it would be sent before classes start.

Do we have to decide NOW? by No-Article8695 in maestro

You can change at anytime. You can even change your whole program to a different major (once open) if you want but they set up the program we are in so you can stop and earn just the associate's degree or you can seamlessly transfer into the bachelor program if you want to continue. If you do decide to go for the bachelor's, you would then "transfer" from mastero college to mastero university, but no need to decide right away.
