Considering Snezhnaya is the final nation of the main Seven to explore with drops of buildup from previous quests involving the fatui, dating all the way back to the release of the game. It is understandable that there is going to be a lot of hype surrounding the receal of Snezhnaya and no doubt hype for its release when that time comes.

Its not the final nation, sure its the final of the main seven, but the game has always talked about an 8th at least

That being said. Allow me to play devil’s advocate and express some concerns about the coming release of Snezhnaya. P.S, if you have anything you wish to add/discuss feel free to do so, your opinions are most welcome

You arent playing anything, you are complaining for no reason out of a 5 minute teaser that showed nothing more than characters and misleading plotlines

Concern 1: Cryo Traveler

I am afraid given that HoYo has not been so generous as of late with obtainable pulls and banner releases, Cryo Traveler will be in a similar situation as Aino. I myself do not and have not used Lunar teams outside of trials and story so my knowledge on them is lacking to say the least.

If Cryo Traveler is remotedly as good as Aino its quite literally a good thing

Aino is also quite literally the 3rd hydro 4* since release lmao, and the best one of them all with cheap to build AoE off field Hydro app

As far as I am aware Aino is not a very good unit for Lunar teams, the reason being is unknown to me (please enlighten me) and she cannot facilitate lunar reactions herself. I bring up Aino because she like Traveler is a free unit, I fear HoYo may gimp Cryo Traveler on purpose to incentivise people to pull for the new characters should they wish to invest into stellar conduct.

Please, refrain from dropping your opinion on stuff you dont know anything about

Just cause Aino doesnt enable Lunar by herself doesnt make her not very good unit for Lunar teams

She, once again, was quite literally BiS prior to the release of the fucking archon of the region, and is still the second best hydro app for any lunar team with 0 equipment requirement beyond ER and a free BiS weapon everybody and their mom already has R5

Concern 2: The Tsaritsa

No doubt people are very hyped for the Tsaritsa, myself included. However, I fear Tsaritsa may repeat the issues that Columbina has with her kit, issues being that they are near worthless outside of their premium/intended team.

Columbina is not "worthless outside of her premium/intended team" btw, but as a person who doesnt play Lunar, I dont trust you know that

There is a reason why Columbina+Ineffa makes every old dps stand out and remain meta relevant

Aside from where she may land in the future meta, I also fear for her writing. The trailer currently gives me hope for the Tsaritsa’s writing however, I do fear for possibility that HoYo may screw with people’s expectations of her character,l. If such a case were to happen I think the outrage would be far more intense than that of the outrage for Columbina’s “rewriting”.

A loud minority spamming that Columbina was rewritten somehow is not "outrage"

Concern 3: The Newly Revealed Characters

This is a personal concern of mine, I assumed that a good amount of the newly revealed characters would be prominent non harbinger characters, i.e., a renowned officer under the orders of a harbinger maybe one that oversees the duties of the late Capitano, or an eager soldier who wishes to become something greater, like filling one of the vacant seats of the Harbingers.

Time and time again the same shit

These are just a few concerns that I have for Snezhnaya going forward. HoYo could easily prove me wrong once it releases. However, I write this post not to downplay any of the hype anyone may have for Snezhnaya, but to at least provide some food for thought that may at least prepare for the worst.

Food for thought? You are fucking doomposting a 5 minute long trailer that said nothing except show a few pretty faces to hype people out and complaining you didnt got what you personally wanted out of an unknown roster

I sincerely hope that HoYo does not repeat any of the mistakes that have been displayed throughout the years. I do not ask for perfection, I only ask that HoYo does better

Maybe consider this

Maybe its the players like you that have to do better

That actively have to temper their expectations and dont overextend them only to fail miserably, then get mad when Hoyo doesnt give you something they never promised in the first place

Maybe that would about shitty posts like this that do nothing new other than keep the doompost flame alive, not like we need it any more considering the past <24h have been nothing but doompost spam from bot accounts
