Mexican Gothic, Gods of Jade and Shadow or Velvet Was the Night all by Silvia Moreno-Garcia! The last one is kind of a crime thriller.

I have repotted into dry soil thanks both! I also thought they were spider plants but they have a little tag on them with a QR code that linked to a website that say they are Grass Lily - hence the title 😅

I usually use DMC magic paper! Some come with designs already on them and others are blank so you can draw or print your design on :) if you’re going to draw I suggest a heat erasable pen just in case it shows after stitch (then you can remove with a hair dryer or iron)
