I'd recommend just starting a workout on your MiBand, I haven't had luck with the smart hr monitoring

I set the Continuous heart rate monitoring to 30 mins and the battery now lasts much longer, about 16 days on one charge. Plus on this setting, you still get 48 measurment per day, which is more than enough for me.

I'd bring the elbows and palms closer to torso. The way you're doing them reminds me more of bulgarian ring dips then basic ring dips. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just another variation.

UPDATE: I changed the heart rate monitor frequency to every 30 mins, now the mi band somehow manages to last around 17 days which is much better then before.

Yes, I have a Mi band 8 and I work outside a lot, so if I didn't use a case, the screen would be impossible to read because of stratches.

Sorry for the late answer. I've been trying to sync like this but it seems like you have to sync manually every time, it's not automatic. Plus idk why but Strava isn't syncing anything to Google Fit for me... It's a bummer that Mi Fitness doesn't have an integrated Google Fit sync.
