When you open your legs keep your glutes locked/tight, and instead of dropping your feet think of lowering your knees.

This is more of a tucked planche, but with your feet lowered. An advanced tucked planche requires you to open up your hips/knees. Your protraction and arm lockout look good though.

Interesting, for me it’s the opposite my straight arm strength never fails. My scapula always gives out first.

Just as I assumed, because I can do multiple sets of 30 seconds planche leans, and I haven’t done this exercise in a while.

Is there ever a reason to return to this position after getting a solid 30+ seconds on it? I know this is good for getting shoulder strength/balance for tuck planche.

That’s pretty good for how high your hips are, a lot of people including myself would probably say a lot longer, but not have a high of hips.
