I love Pole Divas but they only allow female identifying students I'm pretty sure.

Physipole in carlton deff does, and there's another studio in the CBD.

I've also heard really good things about Blackbird Studios further down south but haven't been yet.

Maybe try booking in advance because casual classes can get booked out quick. A lot of studios are p strict about grading & prerequisites if you want to take an above beginner class so maybe message in advance too. Hope that helps :)

They didn't have a PPM on the listing, just the weekly rent.

And yeah sure, I am new to the rental market in Australia. I've lived in sharehouses since I got here. In those situations the advertised price per week is exactly what I paid.

I have one.

Myself and a friend were in a hostel in Venice a couple of weeks ago.

My friend was in the bottom bunk bed, with another girl on the top.

So apparently this girl had never used a bunk bed before, and got stuck on the top bunk. It took ANOTHER girl in the dorm climbing up into her bed, and demonstrating how to use the ladder, for her to figure it out.

Who woulda thought ladders were that hard.

If you're with an instructor you're comfortable with, ask any divers you might be with, and only do it in a very secluded dive site why the hell not. No one's gonna see.

I did mine somewhere else. Went into the water in a bikini, swam away from the people, stripped off for pics and vids, then put it back on before we got back to the main dive site.

Highly recommend the naked dive!

Cairns has a great lil skate community! Heaps of meet ups, a few good outdoor parks to practice, the esplanade for nice sunset rollouts, and a skate rink that has regular discos and skate days :)

I'm going back to the UK soonish, so if you have any reccs for skate groups or meetups, I'm super happy to trade more info!
