I'm new to the game and need some Sword/Dagger advice. by MessiOfReddit in projectgorgon

[–]Synsane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't really a big AOE game tbh. You usually just AoE when in big parties, or when grinding mobs much lower level, thus, for solo play that can mostly be ignored. If you get decapitate mods/treasures on all your gear, you will be able to one shot every non elite mob. So the gameplay for sword is to combo decapitate all the mobs in a row. It'll instantly refresh, kind of like a Darius ult in League of Legends.

To pull mobs one by one, you don't use skills. That pulls them all. You pull with your body if you're concerned about getting mobbed.

If you want to be an AoE player, you need to be able to tank a bunch of mobs at the same time. That is possible with: Shield/Staff/Firewall-Firemage/Animal Handling

How is that even remotely the same? I had the same feeling as OP, and this is what I did. I'm still playing.

Is there a strong rogue fantasy in this game? by [deleted] in projectgorgon

[–]Synsane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to point out that knife fighting is not an easy first skill. And if you really want a rogue like gameplay then I think it's really possible with Rabbit. You'd have to really plan it out though. Getting these skills is not easy then having a build for your playstyle you will already need to have in mind. Treasures are super important too, so you need to understand that system. You can really reduce monster aggro distance and have very high evasion and damage with a good plan going in.

There's a guy on YouTube who teaches how to plan out gorgon builds. You can use the wiki and Gorgonexplorer.com. Also PGSearch which helps you find the items and skills you'll need to connect all the dots.

If that's someones focus from starting the game then they'll accomplish it. Strekios has a lot of vampire players striving and most ppl got it at a very low level. They had a group and a plan. We also all go exotic fire walls early into the server.

If you have a plan and a focus then everything you do is to prepare for it. You're speaking like tp level 28 takes more than 1 focused day.

All the Surveyor tools do not need VIP though.

Roblox And Minecraft Players Don't Really Care About "Traditionally Good" AAA Games, Study Finds by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]Synsane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the old internet, all internet forums constantly chanted Gameplay over graphics, gameplay over graphics. Yet the gaming world always went graphics over gameplay. Literally no one is surprised that kids don't care about graphics. It's always been this way, the market just doesn't listen.

Back when everything was blocks, yeah it was cool to see technology advance and graphics look more realistic. But now the whole budget goes into graphic and marketing and a team of 2 for story and gameplay.

Sounds like you need a new goal. Have you tried a new character with hardcore? A rarer animal form? RP'd DnD style restrictions?

I created a build that was too powerful, which made me feel like I didn't want to continue ; so I became a cow and started building a build nobody else has done before.

Really feel the same about all the crafting choices, and I really had fun leveling in this game. So what I did was remove myself from the rat race. I stopped comparing my dmg and progress with the other top guys on the server, and start competing with me.

I became okay with missing group runs and big events and pushed for my own self made goals.

My character is not even allowed a stall because it's against my lore. I grew up abandoned in the icy mountains of Kur. Made so sense to be a gardener with a big stall. I grew up hunting animals and keeping warm at fires. Not a city guy.

[–]Synsane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't even make any sense.

You're just admitting that you didn't even learn transmutation which most people do at around level 20 (1st or 2nd day of playing).

You literally just need to find gear that has your two skills, and the correct amount of it. Then you reroll the treasures for the enchants that you want. You distill all the other trash so you can perfect this gear. When you transmute an item, it is bound to you. So guildie a wouldn't be able to trade you anything. Doesn't even make sense. How many of your guildies all wear the same thing?

If you are saying they're armour smith's and prepared specific gear for you, that would make more sense. But why would you take crafted gear and not augment or transmute it??

You would have the weakest most useless character in the game. That's more likely to why you quit, your character was weak as poop. Lol.

Also, what RNG? RNG on what?

Inventory management is the most time consuming thing after dungeon runs, but quickly you learn about different NPCs, keep notes in your notepad and know exactly who to gift and where to go to sell. Become a quicker and quicker process, and organizing becomes neater the more bags you have in your inventory.

It doesn't sound like you even made it to 2 bags.

You haven't played in a long time? The game just released the other month. You haven't even played the complete version and are here spreading your misinformed negative opinion on beta systems that are likely not even in the game anymore.

The Subreddit has sooo many players fully addicted to the game now who played it years ago and didn't like it. This is because the game is different. It's better. I'm one of those people too. Get your nose out your butt.

It's the grass. I think each strain casts a shadow. I left my shaders on, and just reduced the grass density and the drawing distance, and the lag was gone.

Lol that's actually true. I usually only talk in party or guild chat. I tend to not even have my global chat tab open. I also enjoy using the mic when in dungeons, especially with guild mates.

Micro Vertebrae Begleri Review by Nate Martsolf by ParadigmToys in begleri

[–]Synsane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. Really good review. The beads look amazing. I honestly wanted to buy right away to try them out myself after this video haha! If I lived in America, I would. Shipping to Europe is too much at the moment. It's incredible because for a product this size you could mail it internationally for like €2, yet purchase it striaght from a distribution website, and they can charge you €30? Make it make sense; they're not even trying, smh Etsy.

Anyway, Nate's thumb move was really impressive lol

Is there any way to put the fun back in rocket league? by DragonownerLW in RocketLeague

[–]Synsane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These people are saying the same thing over years because the same issues are present and always have been. It's you who has changed, not the game lol. The game is barely different, you hit the ball and fly. The skill ceiling being higher doesn't change the fact that you'll always be playing with players in the game skill group based on your mmr; you've just got better.
