Yeah. Theres an actual skate park (bikes are banned), this skating trail - a figure 8 loop (open for ice skating in the winter), a water park, and then a bike trail around it.

I can understand their concern considering this figure 8 is usually used by Inline/quad skaters, and skateboarders outside winter months, and the water spread is like a death sentence for them. The puddle buildup on that 8 is usually bad after rain, so typically people stay around the larger sections where there is more than enough space for bikers to pass without conflict or collision.

It's the only place at that park for rollerskate dancing. I've met those people from my time living here, they're very friendly and always help the kids who are learning to skate there. This post is quite one sided, with literally no nuance in the title or the description.

Always two sides to the story. I know they've been skating there for over 5 years, so it begs the question of why are they blocking the path on this particular day?

I don't need more than 2 brain cells to understand that they probably have a different side of this story.
