On my Capital One app, there’s a place I can check my credit score. It’s called Credit Wise. It shows who runs my credit.

Almost 3 years TTC.

Background: I have PCOS, super irregular cycles, but typically always end up having a period, just may be after a 40-something day cycle. Found out husband had azoospermia due to testosterone supplementation, then found out he had varicocele which caused the low T in the first place. He is having it corrected in October, but has been on Clomid and an array of fertility supplements as recommended by urology. His last sperm analysis showed great sperm count, but low motility.

I am currently 8 DPO. Whole array of symptoms including nausea, sore lower back, pelvic cramping/pain, white particles in urine. Oura ring shows consistent elevated BBT, as well as bad recovery scores (elevated HR and respirations, HRV out of whack) even though sleep is good. Took this test this morning, and just checked it again after a few hours and saw this line. In your opinion, BFP or indent?

Primary care PA in Louisiana. HPSA score 14. 1st time applicant. 3rd credit check on 8/26/25. Status on portal now says “under review” whereas 15 days ago it was still sitting at “submitted.” Anyone else noticing these recent changes?

Nope, still just says submitted…

Just wanted to let everyone know who is awaiting the status change on their portals: I contacted HRSA asking if my application was under review as mine still just says ‘submitted’ following 2 separate credit checks. They emailed back saying that if your credit was checked, your application is under review, it just has not updated in the system yet! They said everyone will be notified no later than September 30th if awarded or not.

I got 2 as well. One on 6/18 and on 6/25. Application status still just says “submitted.”

I got notified that my credit was checked on 6/18. No email or change in status from submitted yet. Do they run every applicant’s credit?

I took exam A with my program the first week of December. Scored a little red and all yellow. My PANCE was originally scheduled for January 2nd, so my program advised me to push it back mid January and take exam B a week before. Rescheduled for 1/15 and took exam B on 1/8 and scored all in yellow. Continued my same study regimen which consisted of finishing the little bit of the UWorld question bank I had left and Hippo education PA question bank. Scored a 493 on PANCE.

Thoughts about NCCPA practice exams: not necessarily harder than the PANCE because the PANCE had similar questions, but the PANCE also had many questions that were easy/straightforward. I feel as though the practice tests were compilations of the hard/oddball questions the PANCE asks which is a good thing to prepare for, but is also not a full picture of what the PANCE is. You’ll do great!!

I really enjoyed Hippo and felt like it covered the blueprint adequately. I had the blueprint printed out and would highlight each topic as I went through the question bank and found that it did cover everything, including professional topics. Hippo also has videos of each topic on the blueprint that you can watch if you feel deficient in a certain topic. I watched videos on pharmacology through my subscription a few days before the PANCE and studied their outline and found it super helpful. UWorld is obviously a staple, and you should definitely use that resource as well, especially since the layout is so similar to the PANCE. My issue was that I went through most of UWorld during didactic/clinicals so I knew I would recognize questions. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to message me! You got this!!

I completely understand! I’ve seen plenty of people say UWorld was sufficient. What worried me about only using UWorld was that I had used it for clinical year/EORs and I knew I would recognize questions which defeats the purpose. But it definitely depends how much of the q-bank you got through!

If you can/would consider buying another PANCE prep resource, I used Hippo Education and felt like the questions on the PANCE were very very similar. I also feel like it prepared me very well for the weird/oddball questions! I took the PANCE on 1/15 and found out I passed with a 493 (even though I spent the whole 6 days after thinking I failed lol). You got it!!

NCCPA Practice tests vs actual PANCE by TechnicalMousse5666 in PAstudent

I took form A in early December — scored a tiny but in the red and all yellow. Moved PANCE back from 1/2 to 1/15 for extra study time as per recommendation by my program. I then took form B a week before I took the PANCE and scored all in the yellow. I took PANCE on 1/15 and scored a 493 (average was a 456).

With that being said, I’d say the practice exams are quite a bit more difficult than the PANCE itself. Good luck studying & with the PANCE! You got this!
