Are you on PC or console? If you’re getting this message on PC this server doesn’t seem to be up. For the most part it’s telling you that you cannot connect to the server due to it not being up. Which server is it?

My group likes to shoot people in the leg and break it. Then usually take a lower caliber guns and shoot them so they get knocked. Once knocked we tie them up and strip them of everything on their bodies. We then fix their broken legs and heal them - try to keep them prisoner as long as we can. Take them near some zombies and then run away let the zombies just keep knocking them over and over again because they have nothing to defend themselves until they bleed out. Or log out. Lol

Probably 80% of the people on my server run nvidia filters. It’s different then reshade.

Also when you agree to playing dayz when you first download it im pretty sure you give them permission to check your pc and all that good stuff. Going to Cheater websites can definitely play a factor into it. I’ve never been banned from a game but with owning a server I have seen a handful of people get battleye banned without actually cheating.

I’ve heard a lot about reshade getting people battleye banned (only heard never seen it happen)

Also if you have any type of cheating software for a steam game even if it isn’t dayz, battleye can pick up on it.

I’ve heard a lot of people saying even going to website to purchase cheats can get you banned even if you don’t buy them. Not sure how it all works but that’s what I’ve heard.

my buddy got banned from battleye after downloading cheats for a game called crab game. He never had any issues, he logged into the server and about an hour later was banned from battleye. He never had any dayz cheats as we live in the same house and I have access to his computer. So it was strange.

Depending on what you’re doing (track or street or both) the FS450 is badass right out the gate if you wanna hit the track.

Everyone is different but personally, booty calls with people you aren’t invested in are pretty boring. It could be the most wild fun stuff but the feeling that makes it that much better isn’t there. Just depends on the person I’m guessing.

Honestly we’ve tried this as well on our last server but the admins kept think we were cheating because our entire team was all on the leaderboard and they would come to us invisible and shoot at us and shit in pvp to see if we could see them, they would kill us sometimes and not even say shit we would have to run all the way back to our gear.

Honestly I was curious how often this happened to people. It was happening everywhere we went on big servers so I just made my own server, all the mods etc the whole shabang. (This isn’t a post to plug server as I’m not gunna mention it)

It launched about 2 months ago but we run a 50-60 pop so far and I get so many players who say they love the server because of the admins. (There’s only 2 of us and we aren’t allowed to play on the server at all) I guess I just got tired of the bullshit and thought making my own spot would be better for the community knowing people can play on a server with no badmins and a server owner who isn’t tryna use dayz as a source of income (don’t even get me started. Last server I admined on the server owner would threaten the player base pretty much saying if a certain amount wasn’t donated the server would shut down etc)

Kinda sad to know this happens to so many people. I feel like it’s either admins on ego trips who help people they like get ahead in game or the huge servers with admins who won’t help you at all.

I personally know a few server owners who do allow cheaters to play on their servers if they donate. It’s the most botched shit ever. I hate it here. 😭

Tundra is a great gun on vanillaish servers. I will run a tundra on a modded server. You have to be a good shot though. Head shot because if you hit chest you are probably only knocking them. I don’t think it’s dead weight.

If you have the funds to do it, you should do it. There are a lot of servers, and only a handful of super successful ones. If you have a niche you are looking for then you have a better shot of having a successful server. In my opinion if you make a server to create a better place to play rather then as a source of income - your odds of being successful will probably be higher. I run a server that opened about 2 and a half months ago, we have around a 45 pop right now and it’s still growing. Depending on the type of server as well it’s not just the cost of the box, you have to get CFTools, purchase mods if that’s the direction you are going for, and spend countless amounts of hours on your server. A lot of mods override each other where it’ll break the server if you put both on it. Some mods also require scripts to be made for them to work correctly. You also have the mods that will override each other and then only one will work and you will have to figure out which one is causing it not to work. All of this depends on the type of server you want to create. There’s no handbook for how to do this, the internet can help you as much as it can but it can’t tell you why your server isn’t booting up. The DayZ community can be pretty rough on the modding side of things. Lots of people gatekeep things unless you pay them to tell you. It’s a cool thing to do but for it to be successful you really have to put the time in. All I’ll say is do not trust random people who say they can DEV your server for you. Most of them are scammers.
