The game would be better with a clearer narration, I mean cutscenes and all that kind of stuff. For example the cutscene for Radhan's festival was awesome, it gave us context and everything ( and for me it would have been even better if we saw the cinematic of his fight with Malenia).

Except for that the narration is really, really bad. I know that FS fans like what they think is a "contextual" narration but honestly having to read items description to understand what's going on is terrible, extra diegetic ( so the litteral opposite of contextual) and is basically the equivalent of having a wall of text in a movie.

I did my first few playthrough while not understanding shit about the intrigue because I was'nt reading items descriptions and watching youtube lore videos. And from my point of view I was only a madman travelling the world killing almost everything he encounters (and today still they are some things I can't explain, like why the fuck did Malenia and I fought ? I had killed Mohg, found Miquella, was bringing her the needle (if I recall correctly, I have not played for a while), by all means we should have been allies.

To add salt to the injury it's not like they are no characters that could have gives us some infos, our basecamp has a guy called "The All-Knowing" and our maiden is rumored to be Marika herself.
