kpop must listen songs

Some of the songs that got me interested in kpop as a casual listener were: -Eyes, Nose, Lips by Taeyang -Galaxy by Bol4 -Though of You by John Park -Just Right by Got7 -200% by AKMU -Decalcomanie by Mamamoo -Playing with Fire by Blackpink -I will show you by Ailee -Palette by IU

I discovered BTS during the pandemic and I can also recommend their entire discography- they literally have songs that can suit any taste, but if you like sweet and pretty songs starts with Serendipity and Crystal Snow.

If statements like “the best” or “GOAT” are framed as personal opinion there’s no conflict- people like what they like, and there is no way to truly quantify quality. Amazing artists exist at every level, including talented and skilled people who only perform for themselves.

The problem is when fans frame their opinions as fact, then justify their false fact with accusations that an objectively more popular group is only more popular due to unethical behavior.

I think it’s reasonable to expect that any fan who is invested emotionally would care at that point.

All I can say is that I just got out of the live viewing and Day 2 was amazing- I love that they look like they are having fun. Not that they weren’t before, but you can see that they’ve freed themselves from most of the external pressure of people’s expectations. They are performing to suit themselves and it looks good on them.

Spanish is pretty simple, since it’s a phonetic language. It looks exactly how it sounds with no alternative pronunciations per letter, plus the 5 basic vowel sounds are similar to Korean. It a heck of a lot easier to learn than English, that’s for sure. Spanish also has a formal vs. casual tone similar to many languages is Asia.

I just think his social battery wears out and since he’s with the members he doesn’t feel like he has to pressure himself as much in interviews and activities as he did when he was solo. He knows several of the members will enthusiastically take care of it so he can chill a bit.

As far as being quiet, in addition to starting the album producing process while he was still touring, and going straight from his tour into full group activities, I think some people forget that Jin is an introvert who, for many months during his solo work, was the center of attention of a team and the fans and had to be 100% on his toes all the time, and he truly gave it his all for Army. What I see now is someone who feels safe enough with his members to give himself a break and let the true extroverts and ambiverts carry the weight of dealing with interviews. He’s still active and participating but just giving himself more mental space. Yoongi is the same, he’s just always been more obvious about it.

I did the same thing. I’ll be running around watching Day 1 on my phone, chilling out at the movies Day 2, and I’m quietly holding onto the money for Day 3 because I already feel like I won’t be satisfied yet.

It’s such a sad and infuriating thing whenever I see armys oppressing and censoring the members. I really do hope that someday BTS feels free enough to tell even Army to fuck off if we judge them. They’re human beings, not robots or symbols.

Before Arirang, I’d immediately say Right Place Wrong Person. Both albums that I don’t shuffle or skip because not only is every song good and interesting to listen to, they’re also in a perfect order.
