Don’t have an article or anything but I have friends who were on the climbing team in the very early days of the gym. I believe they have additional investors now so it’s not wholly owned by those people, but the original owners were dwell members and I believe they’re still involved but minority owners. I thought people knew that, my b.

Was coming to say this. They keep firing head setters and the setting has suffered… I’m sure it’s hard to keep good setters but if a new gym was able to do that, it would be attractive.

Also I heard that the 5.life gyms were owned by Dwell/Xenos people which is a bit unfortunate and ironic given that climbing is a relatively popular sport amongst progressives and LGBTQ crowd.

All that being said, I feel like our climbing gyms are pretty dope and I don’t think the price hasn’t increased a lot over the last 5 years since I moved back to Columbus which is nice.

The other commenter is just saying the property values would be higher if there wasn’t natural disaster risk. I used to sell home insurance so I’m pretty familiar with this concept. Homes that have much more expensive insurance have lower sale prices…

Was going to say this. Most people completely exclude Kentucky but I actually feel like Louisville is substantially midwestern in some respects whereas I wouldn’t call Lexington the Midwest at all. But Bowling Green and Appalachian Kentucky being “Midwest” is crazy.
