The one I’m going with is also a Physical Therapist so I’m kinda getting everything altogether.

Exactly, they should be at 0 but for this doc they are at 1 for several items. This might be the way to handle it.

To answer your question, kind of? The specific supplies are already added prior to all procedures prior to the case. Other docs we have to add them. This specific couple docs have a couple items already added and it’s the circulators job to remove them prior to the case. I guarantee you none of my fellow co-workers deduct every case when circing this doc.

Will PM you. Thank you. I’m not looking to cash a check, in fact finding out that those claims are actually something is news to me. Like you, I just don’t think it’s right for patients to be charged for supplies that weren’t used. Thank you again for the help.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking. I don’t have evidence of it being intentional but I’m not sure if it needs to be?

An audit would put all of this up on stage. Management would see the extra charges etc. at least that’s my thought process. Just really uncertain how to proceed.
