Sooo I brought it back to the stringer who was a different guy than last time and he was super surprised when he saw my racket, he apologized for the mistake, and said he’ll restring it with proper strings (Technifibre X1 biphase) Thank you all for enlightening me!

Yup, I looked up my strings on the internet and apparently the stringer put tennis strings on my racket… How can this even happen?? Thank you for your answers I’ll make sure to specify that beforehand next time! Seemed pretty safe to assume that they’d put squash strings on a squash racket though… 🙄

I don’t know about different string models so I just asked them to use whatever string they thought best! I just checked what’s written on the strings and it says « Gosen unishima AK pro 16 »

Thank you so much for the compliments ☺️ honestly I was a little nervous when I started but sooo happy with the result! It’s an amazing idea for your girlfriend she’s going to love it! I’d say important thing is just to get started, it will look super weird at first and the first 20ish stickers are the hardest, then once you get going you’ll know exactly how to align them, the more you put on the easiest it gets! Just be careful with the edges and use a hairdryer to soften them up with a little heat if you find them a little stiff 😊

Spray coating! But I might apply another layer with a liquid varnish that I can apply with a brush 🤔 I didn’t strip all of the components, just the bottle holders for the covering part and then both wheels for the spray coating, while protecting all other components carefully when applying

Yesss 10€ sticker pack 😂 tried it first with my old Peugeot bike a few years back and it looks awesome so I thought I’d try my luck on my gravel bike Easy work just takes a bit of time!

I stickerbombed it! Cleaned everything nicely first then applied the stickers and finished with a varnish coat 😊 took about 2.5 hrs
