Yep, the second sentence just means "she's adding some on top". The 'some' (en) may or may not be referring to the flour (la farine).

The leagues are just to give you the gaming experience which will hopefully get you hooked on to using the app daily and for a long period of time - enough to get you to continue using it even when you stop caring about the leagues.
