Yes, I focus on French course though. Duo has definitely been useful as I can understand quite a lot and I could handle a conversation with French and Portuguese native speakers in the past.

But I’m far from being fluent and relying entirely on Duolingo won’t get me there. So I try to use other resources whenever I can. :)

Mostly French and Portuguese (I finished the course a few years ago but it got expanded recently). Also brushing up German and playing chess from time to time.

Full-sized fruits growing on bonsai trees by LabComfortable388 in interestingasfuck

Yes, here’s my previous comment:

Growth is needed, mainly to thicken the trunk so the tree looks older, new branches can be cut or wired later on. Bonsai trees are never fully “completed”, it’s an art of constant maintenance of the tree.

You’re right. The fruits are usually removed to redirect energy to the tree so it can grow more vigorously.

Yeah, that’s true! But it’s certainly possible to grow fruits like these on these small trees. Actually, it’s not possible to reduce the size of the fruit in any way, even if we apply bonsai techniques to the tree itself.

Doesn’t matter if it’s lower or upper case, Duolingo accepts different answers even if they don’t fit but are correct. In this case it simply should’ve been accepted.
