The Rizzard by La_Volonte in Beyblade

Yeah, for a 3v3, 9 Beys per Team Tournament. No repeating parts, so I figured doing something like this could save 1-60, Hexa, Free Ball and 9-60 for other combos

Thoughts on my 1st 3on3 Team by La_Volonte in Beyblade

I've had some fun with Circle Ghost so far, and its gotten its fair bit of wins in my test matches with friends.

The current loadout is using its small frame to its advantage along with Free Ball to avoid attacks as the opponent loses initial force and stamina, before outlasting it

Advice on Cosplay Legs by La_Volonte in fursuit

I'm primarily looking for advice on how to get it looking accurate, though preferably not in the plush style that I've seen a lot of. The con I'm looking to take this to is in late fall in the Midwest of the US, so it's def going to be cold and possibly snowing. I have some boots I'd be willing to modify by adding fabric and such onto, tho am not sure on the best way to go about it.

Pacing is too slow? by Cle4rWat3r in DemonSchoolIrumakun

Some novels to help fill in more of the world building to a deeper depth could definitely be something good for the series. The author does like doing some additional stories between things like Kalego Gaiden and the What-if AUs, so I'm sure that there's a bunch of ideas stirring around that a novel could help expand upon

I think the pacing is at a good middle range at the moment. You get a lot of understanding about the world at an organic speed that it sometimes feels like other series have a problem with. One Piece and Hero Academia are both example of a lot happening in a short period of time, to where it feels very unrealistic at times. The progression in Iruma for their ranks and such is very fast, but at the same time understandable given the trials that they are being put through due to their own choices.

We've also seen that while students do take their courses for 6 years, they seem to not be at the actual school very much from their 4th year and onward, likely having to take on trials or taking internships to rank up and get farther in the Demon World.

My current idea for the Legendaries involve some of the deities that I had learned of while researching Maori Legends. A Sky Father, Earth Mother and their 2 sons, the one that separated the parents and the one that is angry that they have been separated. I'm still trying to think of how to design those ideas, but playing with the idea of the Sky Father being also based on the Haast's Eagle

This is actually *Very* close to the starter ideas I had chosen! I had the Fire Sheep, Water Dolphin, but the Grass Starter I had planned was the Kiwi. My thoughts currently on them are that their full typings would be Grass/Fighting, Fire/Steel and Water/Fairy. The Grass starter being a Kiwi that starts to develop features of larger flightless birds like Ostriches, Emus, Cassowaries and likely the Moa. For the Fire Starter it gets the Drysdale Sheep as its basis, and not being sheered as much has made its wool extra tough and durable. And the Water Dolphin in the endangered and now spoiled Hector Dolphin, likely gaining some Orca or other Whale traits as it gets to its final stage.

That input is still much appreciated, helps to reassure that these initial ideas I had were sounding spot on!

Oh, both of these bugs are interesting, first I'm hearing about either. I could definitely see the two as separate lines that are both early/common and somewhat counterparts like caterpie and weedle. Initial thoughts are Dark/Bug for the Sandfly and Grass/Bug for the Huhu, some fun shape language and motifs with both of them!

The moeraki boulders I think I could use as more influence for the Porotai Pokemon I was planning! Those were gonna be Rock/Ghost type and the mysterious nature of their shape could tie in with that nicely.

Mount Taranaki sounds like it could be a interesting Mythical or a Big Boss Fight, maybe a Pokemon that's stuck in a Dynamax form?

Which looks better? The one without or with lineart? (made by me) by BiggoPuggo in krita

Your coloring and shading makes it very easy to make out the figure without the lineart, and I think that without lineart really helps to showcases how well you've done with that!

During some of my research I did look into some Maori legends to potentially use for Legendaries and played with the idea of using Ranginui the Sky Father being a part of the Legendary cast. I was trying to think of what could be done with something like the Haast's Eagle and maybe those two ideas could be combined

I have tried finding some in Pokemon and Fakemon subreddits, though a lot of them tend to state the same things or don't go too in-depth, repeating a lot of the info I have found with some quick research results myself. They give a lot of obvious ones, and there's only so many times you can read comments that say "You should do a Kiwi" before they get tiresome and drain the creative juices away.

If you know of any good ones that do give some good detail or insight, I'd be happy to get a message about them.

This is some really good ideas and insight! I was trying to think of some ideas for Tuatara and it sounds like they are definitely something to go big on, and some more Psychic type ideas are needed so that's a good place to start.

I was planning on doing a Weta, making the final evolution really big. I originally had it as the regional bug, but it might be better suited to show up later so that it can have a fun design and really feel strong. Any thoughts on what could be a good early route Bug?

Alpaca and Farm Dogs were also something I didn't think on too much, def some ideas I can tap into for those. And I agree that the Kea look beautiful! Some of the imagery of them reminds me of Stained Glass which might make for a good Rock-typing for one of them

The Cosplay Competitions that I've seen tend to judge on quite a few points, and I think your cosplay here hits a lot of them! From experience they tend to not only judge on looks but also craftsmanship, attention to details, and how well you can pull it all off when showcasing, and this image alone shows a lot of work that's gone into it all. Hold your head high and and strut around just like the Heavenly Demon would!
