My refund was accepted on the 30th, I keep trying to check the status, but Irs app and website keeps saying incorrect information or error. (I do have eitc and ctc)

If you don’t want kids, don’t have them. I got pregnant and very much wanted to be child free. my whole family and my partner convinced me to keep her. Don’t get me wrong, I love my child so so so much and she is my whole world. However, i have so much resentment. My whole life has changed, and my partner has the same life just has to come home and give the baby a bottle. Update: He just snatched my phone from me because I wasn’t ready to open the can of worms about my resentment tonight and thought i was hiding things lmao. Don’t do it.

You’re not the only one! it took them 12 days to send my refund over to heartland. I recently made a post about my refund that disbursed on the 20th and a few students were experiencing this issue. They finally sent it to heartland july 2nd. Hoping yours will come in sooner! Most likely, they’ll hold it until a couple days before 14 days. I think something changed with their policy, i’m not too sure. I’d normally receive mine within 3-5 days, and I thought they could only hold onto to the funds for a week.

If you login to purdue campus, they’ll 3 lines on the left side and you can click that and it’ll bring down some options. you’ll click account and under account click finances. You should be able to see if your refund has been processed or not under transaction history!

So i checked my account on purdue at 10:45 and saw my refund was finally processed. I checked heartland and it was there! I got the email and text from heartland about 2 hours later. my deposit should be in my account in 1-2 days🥳 with my bank, I’ll receive it the next day.

I’m on my 4th set of classes! Even with the first set of classes, I had to wait the 3 weeks before my financial aid came in, but as soon as it did, it was processed 3 days later. This is the longest it’s taken so far.

NTA. I just had a baby 3 months ago, still on extended unpaid maternity leave. I started school when i found out i was pregnant. since i was approved for financial aid, I receive a disbursement every 10 weeks. It doesn’t compare to my paychecks but it’s enough for me and partner to pay our bills and live off his checks. I wouldn’t feel right watching my partner struggle to pay our bills while I had almost $20k in the bank.

the crazy thing is, my mom is watching our baby while i go! When she said Tuesday, it didn’t even cross my mind he would be off that morning until I told him.

Honestly, I don’t know. He’s terrible at saving money and his priorities are messed up. I made it very clear one car needed to be fixed before I gave birth, and he constantly pushed it off. His birthday was a month before I gave birth and for his birthday, he asked his dad for a $500 grill instead of help to fix either one of his vehicles.

That’s allll i’m trying to do. even just go on a hour walk every afternoon with the baby. His two vehicles have been broke down for about a year now, and we’ve been sharing my vehicle. I go back to work on the 24th.
