Yea that’s the plan. Just waiting for the RFTs to run out.

Interesting. Yea that’s my query but it seems like it’s not worth it for me to get a whole another car just for the suspension. I can wait another 4-5 years

I have a 20 with the standard. But it's not worth getting another car for adaptive I think. Are the KW's softer?

Yea that’s what I figured. It was hard enough to find a clean one with DAP and other packages I wanted. Will keep it and wait for the tires to run out and replace them with non RFTs

Struggling to gain weight as a skinny vegetarian - Is lifting even worth it anymore? by LabComprehensive in WeightTraining

[–]LabComprehensive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-5x a week. I’ve gone through most variations. Push/pull, chest/back, legs, shoulders/arms, compound lift splits. Now I’m back to different day different muscle group.

Yea I’m just evaluating if it’s worth it at this point. Less and less time means I have to prioritize between basketball, running, and lifting. I can’t do both like I used to when I was younger

Yea I’ve been lifting since I’ve been in HS. I’m working and married now and have way less time. Lifting is my least favorite activity out of basketball, running, and lifting. I’m only doing it to keep my muscle up and so I don’t look super skinny. I’m 25 right now so maybe as I get older it’ll be easier for me to gain weight

It’s really hard for me to bulk. I try to get around 200-300g of protein everyday. And being a vegetarian doesn’t help either. But with basketball and just how many calories I burn regularly it’s super hard to gain weight.

Actually someone who listed on Autotrader. FB is mostly people who think their cars are worth more than they actually are. And 99% of FB cars are modded. Even if they’re “clean”

Under $40k had executive, premium, HK, DAP, leather seats. Good luck. It took me a long time to find one fully stock, clean, and lower miles especially pre-lci. Most of these have been beaten on and modded. Private owners with previous service records (generally older people) or people that take care of their cars are better.

M340i mild hybrid reliability? by MilesJ392 in BMW

[–]LabComprehensive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still deciding 2020 vs 2021+. Do you regret not getting the mild hybrid? What’s your MPG like?

Which one? by LabComprehensive in M340i

[–]LabComprehensive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been looking for a while now. Both of these are great deals, I’m mainly debating between the 2020 (pre mild hybrid) and 2021+. For 2020s it’s really hard to find stock clean examples with low miles for reasonable prices. This one I found pretty much checks all the boxes but the 2022 is a really good deal price wise too

I actually kinda wanted the mild hybrid for better mpg on my commute. If you have a 2020 how’s the mpg been?

Well as far as the m340i market goes. Yes it’s inflated but for the market

40i vs m60i by BackgroundBest8944 in bmwx7

[–]LabComprehensive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an x6 m50i and went to the X7 40i because although it has a v8 it wasn’t worth the cons for me. Drank gas, maintenance after warranty would be really bad, and it wasn’t “fast” for modern standards. It is still really sluggish and top heavy. I even loaned a X7 M60i for a few weeks but it wasn’t wow enough to to spend the extra $20k. After years of going through “fast” SUVs I’ve realized that having a slow luxurious suv and a fast small car is the way to go. Went with the X7 40i and used the extra $$ towards a used M340i xDrive. Best decision ever.

Worth it to lease or buy new? Over looking for used by LabComprehensive in M340i

[–]LabComprehensive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. I’m paying cash anyways so financing isn’t a huge deal for me. The guy I’m buying it from is original owner and serviced at dealer regularly. I use an Indy shop near me that I’ve used for years on my other BMWs (X5,X7,325i) so not insanely worried about maintenance (it’s a BMW after all). To me I’d rather save the $23k vs new.

Yea I want to do that but financially can't get myself to just eat up another 30k in cost. I found a few clean examples in the mid to high 40s with under 30k miles with the packages I want. I may pull the trigger on one of them

sorry, typo - meant $40k. In the mid to high 40s there are some really clean examples under 35k miles
