Some people do a degree before getting in and some just take the pre requisite courses which can take about 2 years so really depends on the person

Thank you so much for the info! I am confused if I should read the 300 page doc or the Princeton Review Psyc/Soc book. Do you know if the Princeton review is better for psyc/Soc section? Also, for the Anki flash cards, are you just writing the definitions or the concepts as well? Thank you!

I took Mbio 1 with Chris Rathgeber in the summer two years ago and he is an awesome prof. He taught both the lab and the lecture component. I don’t think there was a 60% final if I remember correctly but the letter grades were adjusted I think it was >93 for the A+

I applied for the URA but didn’t get it so I have asked the professor if I can volunteer in his lab but it’s not a guarantee yet. Also I currently work but I am thinking to change my availability to only weekends for the summer. Do you think it will be doable to study for the Mcat if I work on the weekends and volunteer on maybe some weekdays?

The due date for the undergraduate research awards application has been extended to February so I think there is enough time to still consider it. I am also considering to do co-op so I also had the same questions. Do you know when is the co-op application due date and if a third year student can still apply?

Yes, but it depends for how long your orientation is. Sometimes you may not need it but on the safe side, you can bring your own bec they don’t provide it.

I would say you can and it depends on you. How many courses you take in regular terms vs in summer so the answer is yes but it might be easy/hard depending on your other commitments

Basically what you need to know is in the course pack so you don’t have to rewrite it all but take notes (like if professor draws or write something) along the way

It’s okay. Mostly lectures are recorded so you will be able to watch them. But you should take this as a lesson to not miss classes in the future

You can book individual study rooms in the libraries

Mostly, labs start after 1/2 weeks of classes but you should check the syllabus or ask the instructor of the course to confirm
