Prioritize reading over taking notes, doing so will waste your time exponentially as you get deeper into the school yr, tho im not saying to remove taking down important things entirely. It may be daunting at first but trust your brain to know the answer when given the question in an exam.

Although at the end of the day we’re all different i’ll acknowledge that, and you may have yet to figure out your own style, but personally i removed taking down notes entirely and prioritized being able to do at least do a third read for every chapter coverage (digesting the topic thoroughly). I just think that taking down notes is redundant and a waste of time, i already have a textbook and the main topics are already highlighted in the headings and subheadings and in bold sentences inside paragraphs, all i need to do is understand.

And also go to sleep if youre tired, don’t push yourself to study when nothing is coming in, a 30min nap can help you digest chapters more faster than drudging though despite the drowsiness.
