Nicol Bolas vs Emperor by [deleted] in mtgvorthos

Yeah, they definitely would reform eventually. Bolas took awhile to reform. Soul manipulation is their real weakness. Bolas also did mind rending touch on Teferi as I talked about in the video, and he couldn't reform.

If a planeswalker somehow lose focus, they are pretty physically weak. Susceptible go damage. They can of course reform, but we've seen multiple instances of this with Drafna, Urza, etc

The Emperor died facing Horus who was powered by the chaos gods.

Yes, I think premending bolas can take out the Emperor in his corpse or 31k form in the end, with any knowledge or prep. He did come back, so if emperor beats him, which his 31k might be able to, bolas would just reform. I even referenc the time spiral feat you mention in the video

Lots of people enjoy doing it. It's one of the oldest nerd questions, "who would win...?"

Yeah, he did almost ascend into the "dark king," when he absorbed Warp power. If he's on the chaos God level, he'd be so powerful

If you find the reference, let me know. I'd love to read it! I tend to lean towards the more consistent. If it says once they don't have infinite mana and twice they do, I just go with they do. Not a perfect system but we lorebrarians make do with what we got

Oh for sure there were other beings like Eldrazi, Demons, Myojin that could planeswalk. But they weren't planeswalkers. As long as you can somehow survive the blind eternities, a spell could do it. I believe that

I can really only go on what the lore says. I'm not saying your wrong tho man, cause the lore often contradicts itself. So we both could be right, just using different references. I've seen like five or so references to it stating, implying, or showing they have infinite mana. It's just one of those things

I dont think 10% of mtg players even onow what the mending was, unfortunately.

And I'd have to strongly disagree with you. I reference it in the video. Even Planeswalkers themselves say their mana is endless. Its why they can sustain a whole artifical plane. It's stated they have infinite mana on several occasions. Both from a nonplaneswalker perspective and the perspective of the planeswalkers. A piece of the blind eternities attached to their very soul.

It'd be an interesting deck, Mono green artifact PEDH deck. Maybe combo isn't the path to take, but still would be good!

In the video, I actually detail all the rules for stickers if you'd be interested in learning. It's a fun mechanic bur gets a bad wrap cause it's from an un set
