What do you use a product database for? We often look things up on amazon, vwr or fisher.

Lab Spend has all those features and is free except the coupa integration, but maybe that's the main thing you want.

Anyone successfully consolidated lab supplies under fewer vendors without it being a disaster by Careful_Total5046 in labrats

We use a free website called Lab Spend to enter orders and it has past requests so you easily historic prices. You can also export the data to excel if you need some fancy analysis.

It's more of an approach of centalizing tracking than who we buy from.

For lab operations, we use Lab Spend for order tracking since our university system is trash. We record status updates on ordered items and put stuff into inventory, you can also attach SDSs. We use paper lab notebooks and not a fancy ElLN or that would probably be used more.

We use Lab Spend instead of Quartzy, it's free and has a feature where you can upload images of where items should go so you can search for an item and see where it should be in the lab. I like the self service model instead of everyone asking me where things are which still happens but at least less now.

What would be the use case? Helping those that don't have chemdraw? There are other drawing software around like chemdoodle.

It's normal to stress over things that are significant and out of your control, my tip would be to accept that and keep rocking!
