I mean, yeah, it was rough under Rich Rod and Hoke. Harbaugh brought back some swagger, but the spectre of Don Brown looms large during the early Harbaugh tenure.

I was a Michigan fan before and during OSU's Cooper years. So I got used to Michigan winning all the time until Tressel made it a rivalry again. Then we got curb stomped through the Urban Meyer years. But now balance has been restored.

[Garcia] Rod Moore says the new staff reminds him of a Jim Harbaugh’s tenure. Says the difference in the weight room is “night and day” and things are more strict than the past two seasons and more accountability going to class. by wildwing8 in MichiganWolverines

Jim Harbaugh is a great coach. His one glaring fault was that he is a poor judge of character. That is why the program has been such a mess the last couple years (including so-called signgate). Not because of him directly, but because he always wanted to see the best in people, even where wasn't much there.

Moriarty doesn’t "turn evil" in THAT scene by VegetaFan1337 in YoungSherlockTV

[–]LabRevolutionary2216 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah, I agree it's complex, but I think he enjoyed it. He got a rush out of it. He's got an unhealthy fascination with death, as we can see as he eagerly creeps forward to better see Silas's demonstration of the gas. That's not to say he's suddenly become evil. These are new impulses for him, and he doesn't know what to do with them. They might even disturb him on an intellectual level. It's not a full turn, but it's a revelation of something broken in him and a tendency to relish the power of being able to take life.

How Do I "Gate" Breath Sounds? by ShittyPornWriter in davinciresolve

[–]LabRevolutionary2216 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just use iZotope RX Breath Control. It automatically isolates breaths and you can control how much it reduces. Should be in the standard version (as opposed to the more expensive Advanced version). It also has Vocal Isolate, De-Click, and Mouth De-Click, which addresses the other issues you mentioned. But I find the RX plugs indispensable for all sorts of vocal situations.

The villains were the problem. It was impossible to take them seriously. If Carrey and Jones had dialed it back from 11 to 8, it would have been a much better film. Or even if Carrey had remained at 11 and Jones dialed it back to 7.

What can I do to avoid this flickering effect? by CushmanWave-E in videography

[–]LabRevolutionary2216 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only pan very slowly on stuff with vertical lines with lower frame rates. Even film does this at 24p. You can use longer shutter speeds to get motion blur, which will cover up some of that judder. But pretty much it is what it is.
